The side door includes an outer panel located downward from the window and a door frame extending along the perimeter of the window. The antenna is fixed by double-sided adhesive tape on an outer face of a section of the door frame that extends in the up-down direction. The bracket is attached to the side door, and faces a cable extending downward from the antenna. The bracket has a cable opening through which the cable passes, between the bracket and the door frame. The cable opening has a shape through which the antenna cannot pass.
DOOR UPPER
A side door assembly is provided for an automotive vehicle body having a side opening. The side door assembly includes an upper door half incorporating a unique outer panel coupled to or integrally formed with a structural portion. Soft goods are operably coupled to the structural portion of the upper door half. The side door assembly includes a one-piece casting for hinged connection to the vehicle body. The casting forms a frame. At least one panel insert is selectively connected from the interior of the vehicle outward by a plurality of rotary attachment features to the frame. The frame includes a plurality of reinforcement features to add structure and rigidity, while reducing weight, to the side door assembly.
Liquid diverter assembly and liquid diverting method for a vehicle door
A liquid diverter assembly for a vehicle door includes, among other things, a funnel adjacent a vertically lower end portion of a glass run within a vehicle door, and a conduit that communicates liquid from the funnel around an electrically powered component of the vehicle door. A method of diverting liquid within a vehicle door includes, among other things, collecting liquid from a glass run of a vehicle door within a funnel, communicating liquid from the funnel to a conduit, and communicating liquid through the conduit such that the liquid moves around an electric component of the vehicle door.
Device for guiding a sliding window, glazed vehicle door equipped with said device, and vehicle equipped with such a door
The invention relates to a device for guiding a sliding window (28) in a door (2) of a motor vehicle, which comprises a guide rail (5) and at least one guide runner (4) secured to the inner face of said sliding window (28), said guide rail (5) being provided with a cylindrical longitudinal cavity (52), said guide runner (4) comprising at least one guide head (42) fitted in said cavity (52). Said guide runner (4) is rigid and the guide head (42) thereof comprises at least three flat parts (420) that extend radially from an axis (421) of the runner head, and said guide rail (5) surrounds said guide head (42) such that the free ends (422) of each flat part (420) of the guide head (42) bear permanently against the inner wall of said longitudinal cavity (52).
Door sash
A door sash surrounding a window opening of a vehicle door, the door sash including: a design part located on a vehicle exterior side; a frame part located on a vehicle interior side with respect to the design part so as to form a sash interior space surrounded by a wall; and a mounting part located inside the sash interior space and to which door-related components can be mounted. According to this door sash, it is possible to achieve high functionality around the vehicle door while improving the space efficiency of the vehicle door by effectively utilizing the sash interior space as a portion to which the door-related components are mounted.
Stabilization device for sealing a mirror triangle, and sealing assembly provided with the stabilization device
A stabilization device stabilizes the region at the tip of a mirror triangle seal which is secured to a cover of the mirror triangle of a frameless vehicle door of a motor vehicle in the vehicle transverse direction. The stabilization device includes a fastening element for securing to the cover of the mirror triangle and a contact element for contacting the inner face of the tip of the seal. The contact element can be arranged and fixed so as to protrude upwards in the vehicle vertical direction such that the seal remains fixed to the cover when the vehicle door is opened despite a force acting inwards, which force is exerted onto the tip of the seal by a vehicle door window pane which is pretensioned inwards.
Vehicle door glass elevating/lowering device, door frame assembly, vehicle door opening/closing member driving device, and vehicle door opening/closing member driving device assembling method
A vehicle door glass elevating/lowering device performs elevating/lowering operation of window glass by a driving force of a drive source along a sash member along one of front and rear edges of the window glass in a door sash forming a window opening. The glass elevating/lowering device includes: a guide rail on the sash member; a slider having a glass support secured to the glass and a sliding part guided movably in the elevating/lowering directions with respect to the guide rail; and a transmission member that transmits the driving force of the drive source, in which a first sliding part regulated in position by the guide rail in at least one direction of the vehicle front-rear directions and a second sliding part regulated in position by the guide rail in at least the other direction of the vehicle front-rear directions are provided at mutually different positions in the elevating/lowering directions.
Door structure of vehicle
A door structure comprises a door body, a window glass having a substantially rectangular shape, and a window regulator. The door body has a sash being provided to the door body before the window glass is connected to the carrier plate at one side of the door body in a front and rear direction of the vehicle, and the sash has a groove, in which only one edge of the window glass is inserted, and the door structure further includes a separating member configured to separate the window glass from the sliding face of the guide rail.
