Door assembly with collapsible carrier and water shield
A door assembly for a motor vehicle comprised of an outer door panel and an inner door panel interconnected to define a door panel structure having an internal door cavity. A collapsible carrier module is configured to be oriented in a collapsed arrangement to facilitate installation into the door cavity through an opening in the inner door panel. The collapsible carrier module can be moved from its collapsed arrangement into an expanded arrangement upon installation within the door cavity to facilitate subsequent mounting to the door panel structure. The collapsible carrier module includes a barrier configured to close off the opening in the inner panel.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING STRAIN ON A VEHICLE DOOR USING A RELIEF BRACKET
A system for reducing strain on a vehicle door comprises the vehicle door. The vehicle door comprises an inner panel and a division bar comprising a first portion and a second portion. The system further comprises a relief bracket configured to reduce strain on the inner panel when the vehicle door is closed. The relief bracket comprises a first portion coupled to the second portion of the division bar, a second portion coupled to the inner panel, and a relief portion extending between the first portion and the second portion.
DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle door according to an exemplary embodiment enhances coupling strength through structural coupling by molding a window frame of a door module assembled between a door trim and the door panel with a separate aluminum injection product, and insert-injection molding a coupling portion of the window frame to a module body, and a groove is formed along the coupling portion of the window frame coupled to the module body to easily distinguish respective parts and serve to carry out sealing in injection molding.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING VEHICULAR SIDE DOOR, DOOR COMPONENT, AND SIDE DOOR
A method for manufacturing a vehicular side door capable of suppressing occurrence of a residual deformation in a frame of a sash part and a panel member of a door body part in a manufacturing step including a heating step. The method for manufacturing a vehicular side door includes joining each of one end part of a front frame in the vehicle longitudinal direction and one end part of a rear frame to at least one door panel member, heating at least one door panel member, the front frame, and the rear frame joined in the first joining step, and joining the other end part of the front frame and the other end part of the rear frame to each other after the heating step.
Convertible door assembly for a motor vehicle
A convertible door assembly includes (a) an upper door section, defining a window opening, (b) a lower door section, (c) a releasable locking feature, retaining the upper door section to the lower door section, and (d) a window. The window is displaceable between a raised position, closing the window opening and a lowered position, concealed within an internal door cavity formed in the upper door section and the lower door section.
CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC VEHICLE DOOR LEAF, FOR EXAMPLE FOR A RAIL VEHICLE
A customer-specific vehicle door leaf, in particular a customer-specific rail-vehicle door leaf, preferably an inwardly opening customer-specific vehicle door leaf for an entry door. The door leaf includes a panel and a general vehicle door leaf, wherein the general vehicle door leaf preferably has a supporting vehicle door leaf frame, and the general vehicle door leaf itself is pressure-tight and/or waterproof, and the panel is provided on the vehicle door leaf frame.
DOOR GLASS ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE
A door glass assembly for a vehicle is configured such that a driving motor for raising and lowering a door glass of the vehicle is directly connected to the door glass. The door glass assembly for the vehicle includes the door glass installed to be capable of being raised and lowered in a door of the vehicle and the driving motor for raising or lowering the door glass. The door glass assembly further includes a motion converting means for converting the rotational motion of the driving motor into the linear motion of the door glass between the driving motor and the door glass.
MODULAR HALF DOOR
A side door assembly is provided for a vehicle body having a side opening. The side door assembly includes a one-piece casting for hinged connection to the vehicle body. The casting forms a frame. At least one panel insert is selectively connected from the interior of the vehicle outward by a plurality of rotary attachment features to the frame. The frame includes a plurality of reinforcement features to add structure and rigidity, while reducing weight, to the side door assembly.
Vehicle door frame
A vehicle door frame includes an upper frame having a first end face at a longitudinal end, and a lower external face; and a lower member of a plate form bonded to the upper frame. The lower member includes a second end face facing the first end face, a projection projecting from the second end face in a longitudinal direction below the upper frame, and a third end face located at an upper end of the projection, extending in the longitudinal direction, and facing a lower side of the external face of the upper frame.
Vehicle door
A vehicle door includes a window frame delimiting a window aperture and a window pane that is adjustably positioned in the window aperture. The window frame includes a first leg having a first surface which is situated opposite a first edge of the window pane extending in the adjusting direction. The window frame also includes a second leg having a second surface which is located opposite a second edge of the window pane extending in the adjusting direction. At least the first surface of the first leg delimits a clearance of the window pane transversely to the adjusting direction. In a closed position, the first edge and the first surface touch one another at the height of an upper region of the first leg. At a height of a lower region of the first leg the first edge and the first surface run spaced from one another.
