VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY

A handle base bracket has a first handle receiving section and a fastener opening that extends through the first handle receiving section. In a fully assembled state the outboard surface of the handle base bracket overlays a portion of an inboard surface of a door panel. A first fastener member extends through the first handle opening and into the fastener opening. A head portion overlays a portion of the outboard surface of the door panel adjacent to the first handle opening. A metallic bracket has a main section fixedly attached to the handle base bracket. First and second side flanges of the metallic bracket extend toward the inboard surface of the door panel. An operation handle has a grip portion outboard of the door panel and a protrusion extending into the first handle receiving section of the handle base bracket.

VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY

An outer door panel and an inner door panel are fixed to one another defining a cavity therebetween. A door handle assembly is fixedly attached to the outer door panel, with at least a portion of the door handle assembly overlaying an inboard surface of the outer door panel within the cavity. An inboard portion of the door handle assembly has a connection structure. An upwardly extending bracket within the cavity is fixed to an upper end and a lower end of at least one of the inner door panel or the outer door panel. The upwardly extending bracket is spaced apart from the door handle assembly. A vibration absorbing member has a first end fixed to the connection structure of the door handle assembly and a second end attached to the upwardly extending bracket at a location spaced apart from upper and lower ends of the upwardly extending bracket.

VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING FRONT END ENGAGED LOWER MOLDING COMPONENTS

A vehicle includes a door assembly including an outer door panel and an inner door panel defining a volume therebetween and a window frame that receives a window therein. A molding assembly includes a corner molding component including a portion that extends along an A-pillar portion of the window frame and a portion that extends along a lower portion of the window frame. A lower molding component extends along the lower portion of the window frame having a connector receiving notch located at a front end of the lower molding component that defines at least part of a catch tab portion. An engagement component comprising a body that is connected to the portion of the corner molding component that extends along the lower portion of the window frame and a connector that projects outward in a vehicle lateral direction and engages the catch tab portion thereby connecting the corner molding component and the lower molding component.

A vehicle door structure includes: a door hinge member mounted on a vehicle body; a door inner panel that constitutes a side door of an automobile; a door outer panel that is mounted on an outer side of the door inner panel in a vehicle width direction, and constitutes the side door of the automobile; and a door impact beam that is disposed between the door inner panel and the door outer panel, a first end side of the door impact beam being mounted on the door inner panel through a mounting member, a second end side of the door impact beam being rotatably mounted on the door hinge member.

Door for vehicle

A door of a vehicle may include a first door module forming a door skeleton and a second door module coupled with the first door module, wherein the second door module includes a door window and may include a relatively lightweight material as compared to the first door module and a hollow portion is formed along an edge portion of the second door module forming the door window, reducing weight and cost of the door.

Vehicular door

A vehicular door includes an inner panel and an outer panel that is mounted on a vehicular exterior side of the inner panel such that they are mounted to and separated from each other by sliding. The outer panel is mounted to the inner panel while the first outer side stopper and the first inner side stopper being fit to each other and the second outer side stopper and the second inner side stopper being fit to each other. In the relative sliding of the inner panel and the outer panel in the lateral direction, the first outer side stopper, the second inner side stopper, the second outer side stopper, and the first inner side stopper are arranged such that the first outer side stopper is not contacted with the second inner side stopper or the second outer side stopper is not contacted with the first inner side stopper.

Panel-like formed product, vehicle door, and method for manufacturing a panel-like formed product

The panel-like formed product includes a polygonal top board, two or more vertical walls, and a flange. The vertical walls extend from two or more sides of the top board, and include at least two adjacent vertical walls extending from at least two adjacent sides of the top board. The top board includes a frame portion, and a concave portion which is located at an inner side of the frame portion. The two or more adjacent vertical walls include a first vertical wall section, a stair, and a second vertical wall section. The stair connects to a lower end of the first vertical wall section. The second vertical wall section connects to an outer edge of the stair. The flange connects to a lower end of the second vertical wall section.

Vehicle door assembly

A vehicle door assembly includes an outer door panel that is fixed to an outer periphery of an inner door panel such that the inner door panel and the outer door panel define a door cavity therebetween. A support bracket is attached to a forward area of the inner door panel within the door cavity. A reinforcing panel is attached to the support bracket within the door cavity. A window opening support panel is attached to the support bracket, the reinforcing panel and the inner door panel within the door cavity. A side view mirror is located along an exterior side of the outer door panel. The side view mirror includes at least one fastener that extends through the window opening support panel and the reinforcing panel thereby attaching the side view mirror thereto.

Outer body part assembly of a vehicle

An outer body part assembly for a vehicle, including an outer skin and a support member fixed to the outer skin. The outer skin is attached on a structural module of the vehicle via the support member, the support member includes a main body and a flange edge arranged around the main body and connected with the outer skin, the main body is in the form of mesh structure and includes a contact portion for supporting the outer skin and a reinforcement rib projecting from the contact portion for reinforcing the contact portion. The assembly prevents the outer skin from sinking, benefiting from the lightweight of the main body of the mesh structure, and the main body meets the supporting strength requirements by enhancing the strength of the mesh structure with the reinforcement ribs. In addition, the mesh structure also provides an effective energy absorption in case of a crash.

Door hem length measurement tool
