Carrier with a fastening area made of a fiber composite material and with at least one support element locking a fastening element
A carrier assembly for a vehicle, comprising a carrier component. A fastening point for fastening the carrier component is provided at a fastening area of the carrier component made of a fiber composite material, which specifies a position for a through-opening yet to be formed by the attachment of a fastening element along a direction of attachment and which forms at least one support element protruding along the direction of attachment, against which a head portion of the fastening element rests at least in a non-positive manner when a fastening portion of the fastening element properly extends through the material of the carrier component.
Vehicle door
A vehicle door includes an inner panel, a power window that opens or closes a window opening formed at an upper portion of the inner panel, and an operation switch provided at the inner panel to open or close the power window. The operation switch is arranged at the periphery of the window opening at the inner panel.
Hybrid door module
A carrier module for a motor vehicle door assembly having inner and outer panels defining a door panel structure with the inner panel having an opening for selective access to an internal door cavity between the inner and outer panels are provided. The carrier module includes a carrier having an outer periphery configured for attachment to the inner panel to substantially close off the opening with the outer periphery bounding a wall having a variable wall thickness with support regions of the wall having an increased thickness relative to adjacent non-support regions.
ASSEMBLY CARRIER OF A VEHICLE DOOR, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ASSEMBLY CARRIER
An assembly carrier of a vehicle door has at least one break-out element, which is connected to the material of the assembly carrier via at least one peripheral weakened region. The weakened region has a lower material thickness than the remainder of the assembly carrier material. The weakened region acts as a predetermined breaking point and forms a periphery of a service opening. The weakened region is arranged in a ring all around the break-out element. The break-out element is jointly formed with the assembly carrier in a common injection mold.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle (1) has a first front door (2) and a first rear door (3) arranged behind one another on a first longitudinal side of the motor vehicle (1), and a second front door and a second rear door arranged behind one another on a second longitudinal side of the motor vehicle (1). The second longitudinal side lies opposite the first longitudinal side. Each of the two front doors (2) has a lowerable door pane (4), and each of the two rear doors (3) has a fixed door pane (6). The rear doors (3) have a frameless configuration, and the fixed door panes (6) extending as far as the front doors (2).
DOOR MODULE
A door module and presenter assembly therefor, the door module having a carrier module, a handle chassis, an extension member extending from the carrier module to support the handle chassis, wherein the handle chassis is moveable relative to the carrier module.
Convertible vehicle doors
A convertible vehicle door includes a high visibility exterior off-road frame door including a hinge assembly to hingedly couple to a vehicle body, and an inner on-road panel configured to releasably couple to the high visibility exterior off-road frame door inboard thereof. The convertible vehicle door is convertible between an on-road door configuration where the inner on-road panel is coupled to the high visibility exterior off-road frame door, and an off-road door configuration where the inner on-road panel is detached from the high visibility exterior off-road frame door.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel, a pillar panel and a first cushioning pad. The inner door panel has an attachment area, a first edge portion and a second edge portion, with the first edge portion defining hinge attachment locations. The pillar panel is fixedly attached to at least the second edge portion and the attachment area such that the inner door panel and the pillar panel define a hollow B-pillar structure. The pillar panel further includes an offset portion that is spaced apart from a central portion of the attachment area of the inner door panel such that the attachment area and the offset portion define a recessed area therebetween. The first cushioning pad has a main body installed within the recessed area between the offset portion of the pillar panel and the inner door panel.
