A vibration absorbing member has a first end fixed to the connection structure of the door handle assembly and a second end attached to the upwardly extending bracket at a location spaced apart from upper and lower ends of the upwardly extending bracket.

Door module, motor vehicle door and method for securing a door module onto a door structure

A door module for a motor vehicle door having a module carrier which is formed substantially by organic sheet, a longitudinally extending channel which is formed integrally in the organic sheet of the module carrier, an insertion opening which extends along the direction of extent of the channel and via which a reinforcement element of the motor vehicle door is insertable into the channel, and at least one functional element which is fixed to the module carrier and which crosses the channel and thereby partially covers the longitudinally extending insertion opening thereof. In the organic sheet of the module carrier, there is formed an elastically deformable bending region which enables the channel to be bent open at least in sections, and/or enables the channel to be bent away from the functional element, in order to open up the insertion opening of the channel for the insertion of the reinforcement element.

Module carrier for a door module of a motor vehicle door and method of producing the same

It is provided a module carrier for a door module of a motor vehicle door, wherein at least one functional element is to be fixed to the module carrier. The module carrier is formed substantially by an organic sheet and is delimited by an encircling outer edge with at least one sealing element. On the module carrier, there is provided a multiplicity of interfaces firstly for fixing the module carrier to a door structure of a motor vehicle door and secondly for connecting the at least one functional element and/or further components of the door module to the module carrier.

Watertight assembly for a window regulator of a vehicle

The assembly includes a drive unit and an ECU connectable to the drive unit in an assembly direction Y, transverse to a rotary shaft of the motor. The ECU includes an L shaped support having a first part parallel to the assembly direction Y and a second part transverse to the first part Y and coupled in a sealing manner to an L shaped opening of the drive unit housing. The assembly includes a seal with a second sealing part which, when the ECU is coupled to the housing, is compressed in the assembly direction Y between the second part of the support and a second perimeter edge of a second opening of the housing and a first sealing part which, when the ECU is coupled to the housing, is housed in a gap defined between the first part and a first perimeter edge of a first opening of the housing, the gap and the first sealing part in a plane parallel to the assembly direction Y. The first sealing has two longitudinal branches and a transverse branch such that the longitudinal branches are compressed in a direction transverse to the assembly direction Y whilst the transverse branch is compressed in the assembly direction Y.

HYBRID DOOR MODULE

A carrier module for a motor vehicle door assembly having inner and outer panels defining a door panel structure with the inner panel having an opening for selective access to an internal door cavity between the inner and outer panels are provided. The carrier module includes a carrier having an outer periphery configured for attachment to the inner panel to substantially close off the opening with the outer periphery bounding a wall having a variable wall thickness with support regions of the wall having an increased thickness relative to adjacent non-support regions.

Carrier member with specific seal channel

A carrier component for a vehicle, e.g. in the form of an assembly or module carrier for a vehicle door is provided. The carrier component comprises a sealing channel at least in a protruding region in which a portion for a functional component protruding beyond the edge of the carrier base surface or for a functional component arranged to protrude from the carrier component extends across the sealing channel in cross-section is formed by at least two legs which each define an outer edge of the sealing channel and whose ends lie in a channel plane which extends inclined relative to a carrier plane defined by the carrier base surface, so that the sealing channel is open in a direction in space defining the carrier plane and a seal also can easily be injection-molded to the carrier component in the protruding region.

AUTOMOTIVE DOOR MODULE FOR WINDOW REGULATOR AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME

A vehicle door assembly includes a door module and a door panel. The door module has a back plate with a periphery bearing attachment orifices defining a base plane. At least one guide rail extends in a rail direction in a rail plane offset from the base plane and has a connected edge and a free edge. The connected edge is attached to the back plate, and the free edge is shaped for slidably attaching a carrier plate for a window. The guide rail vertically protrudes beyond the periphery of the back platen. A void in the rail plane intersects a trajectory of the connected edge. The void provides access through the rail plane to the periphery of the back plate, wherein an attachment orifice is disposed in the void.
