VEHICLE ACTUATOR CABLE DAMPENER
A vehicle actuator cable assembly is provided. The cable assembly may include a rail, a pulley, a cable, and a dampener sleeve. The rail may be attachable to a vehicle panel and the pulley may be rotatably coupled to the rail. The cable may include a wire that is movable by the pulley and a cover that partially surrounds a portion of the wire. The dampener sleeve may define an outer wall and an inner wall that surrounds a portion of the cover. The inner wall may define protrusions that inwardly extend from the inner wall so that the protrusions engage a portion of the cover.
DOOR MODULE FOR VEHICLE DOOR HAVING INTEGRATED SOUND SUPPRESSION AND DAMPENING ARRANGEMENT
A vehicle panel assembly for a motor vehicle includes a structural door panel body having an inner door panel and an outer door panel defining an internal cavity. A carrier module is secured to the structural door panel body. The carrier module has a carrier having an outer periphery for attachment to the inner door panel to substantially close off an opening therein to separate a wet side of the door panel body from a dry side of the door panel body and having a recessed pocket configured for receipt of a rear side of a speaker therein to maintain the speaker on the dry side of the door panel body. At least one of a barrier and shroud is coupled to the carrier. The barrier forms an air pocket with the carrier on a side of the carrier facing the wet side of the structural door panel body.
GROMMET
A grommet includes a grommet body, an inner protector, and an outer member. The inner protector includes a protector body accommodated in a protector accommodating chamber of the grommet body. The protector body includes a rib on an outer surface of the protector body. The rib projects toward an inner surface of the protector accommodating chamber of the grommet body and extends along a direction toward a lower side from an upper side with the grommet installed in a vehicle body.
Door hole seal
A door hole seal includes: a sheet body configured to operably couple to a door inner panel for covering an opening on the door inner panel; a synthetic resin film for joining the sheet body to the door inner panel, the synthetic resin film being transparent, the synthetic resin film including: an internal circumferential end which sticks to the sheet body; and an outer circumferential end which sticks to an inner-cabin side of the door inner panel by adhesive; and a sheet separation provided at a distance from the sheet body and between an outer circumferential end of the sheet body and the outer circumferential end of the synthetic resin film, the sheet separation adhering to the synthetic resin film.
BREAK-OUT ELEMENT FOR A MODULE SUPPORT, WHICH IS DESIGNED AS A WET/DRY AREA SEPARATION, OF A DOOR OR FLAP OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
It is provided a break-out element for a module support, which is designed as a wet/dry area separation, of a door or flap of a motor vehicle, wherein the break-out element is integrally connected to the adjacent material of the module support via at least one region of weakness of lesser material thickness, and wherein the region of weakness acts as a predetermined breaking point and forms at least part of the edge of an access opening. The break-out element is in the shape of a cup, wherein the region of weakness is arranged between the free edge of an edge-side cup ring and the base of the cup.
Door hole seal and method of stacking a plurality of door hole seals
In a state in which a plurality of door hole seals are stacked on top of each other, the door hole seals are prevented from being bonded to each other without the need to use a release paper. Each of the door hole seals has a main body part and an adhesive part, wherein the main body part has a protrusion provided thereon at a position that is different from a position at which the adhesive part is arranged, and the protrusion has a height greater than a thickness of the adhesive part.
Vehicle door with carrier module having sustainable carrier
A carrier of a carrier module for a motor vehicle door assembly and method of manufacture thereof is provided. The carrier has a body with opposite wet and dry sides bounded by an outer periphery configured for attachment to an inner panel of the motor vehicle door assembly. The body is made of a recyclable, environmentally sustainable natural fibrous material.
CARRIER MODULE AND METHOD FOR SIDE LOADING CARRIER MODULE TO A VEHICLE DOOR
A carrier module for a motor vehicle having inner and outer door panels defining a door panel structure with an internal door cavity is provided. The carrier module includes a pair of carrier members operably coupled to one another. The carrier members are configured for substantially free movement relative to one another to facilitate installation of the carrier members separately from one another into the internal door cavity through an opening formed in the inner panel and have fasteners preassembled thereto to facilitate attaching the carrier members to the inner panel.
Water shield member
A water shield member includes a cup-shaped concaved portion that has an opening, a hinge portion and a flange portion. The hinge portion extends from the concaved portion and extends around the opening of the concave portion, the hinge portion having a first thickness. The flange portion extends around the hinge portion and the concaved portion. The flange portion is spaced apart from the concaved portion and defines a first plane. The flange portion has a second thickness greater than the first thickness. The concaved portion, the hinge portion and the flange portion are all made of a common material.
Vehicle side portion structure
In a vehicle side portion structure, a vehicle body-side wall surface, which is a wall surface at a side of an aperture lower edge portion of a door lower space, is formed so as to include a first upper surface, a first corner surface, and a first vertical surface that extends substantially downwards from the first corner surface. The door lower space is formed so as to include a corner upper space, which is a space located at a vehicle upper side of the first corner surface, and a first space, which is a space between a door weather strip and the corner upper space. A width in a vehicle up-down direction of the corner upper space is less than a width in the vehicle transverse direction of the first space, and is also less than a width in the vehicle up-down direction of the first space.
