A cabin-interior upright wall of a door inner panel is configured by a first panel member alone. An extension wall extends toward a door outer panel from an end of the cabin-interior upright wall. A lower portion of a front upright wall, which is part of the extension wall, is segmented in a door thickness direction. The extension wall is configured such that a first extension portion of a first panel member is joined to a second extension portion of a second panel member in a state overlapped with the second extension portion.

At least one of a barrier and shroud is coupled to the carrier. The barrier forms an air pocket with the carrier on a side of the carrier facing the wet side of the structural door panel body.

The exterior panel may be formed from a monolithic metal sheet and attached to an exterior portion of the vehicle frame, and the exterior panel does not comprise an additional support structure. At least one component may be directly attached to the exterior panel, and the exterior panel may bear the load of the at least one component. Methods of manufacturing the vehicle are also described.

The side mirror assembly is installed along an exterior side of the outer door panel. The side mirror assembly includes fasteners that extend through the window opening support panel and the second support panel.

The shock absorber includes a shock absorbing portion that is inserted in the service hole. The shock absorbing portion is disposed such that an end of the shock absorbing portion on an exterior side of the vehicle is disposed more to the exterior side of the vehicle than the service hole and between the vehicle body panel and the door trim.
