VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle door assembly a first reinforcing bracket, a fastener and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket extends from a forward portion of an inner door panel to a rearward portion of the inner door panel. The first reinforcing bracket has a first main surface. The fastener is attached to the first reinforcing member such that a head portion thereof is spaced apart from of the first main surface. The vibration absorbing member has a main body with a first end and a second end. The first end has a slot that extends from an edge of the first end inward. The slot is dimensioned and shaped for sliding installation on to the fastener such that the first end of the vibration absorbing member is located between the head portion of the fastener and the first surface of the first reinforcing bracket.
REINFORCEMENT SHEET AND REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE
A reinforcement sheet is stuck onto a metal panel. The reinforcement sheet includes a resin layer and a constraining layer disposed on one side of the resin layer in the thickness direction. The reinforcement sheet extends in a first direction and a second direction. An outer circumferential edge on one side of the reinforcement sheet in the first direction has a curved shape protruding toward the one side in the first direction.
Automobile side structure and automobile
What is provided is an automobile side structure including: a first impact absorbing member (122) extending in a vehicle height direction inside an automobile door; a second impact absorbing member (126) inside the automobile door; a door inner panel (200) inside the automobile door; and a side sill (520), in which the first impact absorbing member (122), the second impact absorbing member (126), the door inner panel (200), and the side sill (520) are on a straight line in a vehicle width direction, and the second impact absorbing member (126) is disposed between the first impact absorbing member (122) and the door inner panel (200); and an automobile.
Side vehicle-body structure of vehicle
A side vehicle-body structure of a vehicle capable of efficiently absorbing side collision energy while downsizing an energy absorbing material. The side vehicle-body structure includes a center pillar in which a lower end side is positioned on a vehicle-width-direction outer side with respect to an upper end thereof. The center pillar includes a breakage inducing portion that is provided to be close to a lower portion of an outer wall of the center pillar and induces breakage at time of a side collision, and a step-down portion provided in a corner portion of a center pillar outer wall of the breakage inducing portion. An energy absorbing material is disposed between the step-down portion 3 and an inner panel.
Door service hole cover
A door service hole cover includes a cover component that is configured to cover a service hole, and a shock absorption component that is integral to the cover component. The shock absorption component includes a cabin inner component, at least a portion of which projects from the cover component toward the inside of the cabin and which is hollow and open toward the outside of the cabin; and a fragile portion formed on a side surface of the cabin inner component and configured to allow the cabin inner component to crush and deform upon application of a force acting in the direction of projection of the cabin inner component. Upon application of a force acting in the direction of projection, the cabin inner component crushes inwardly and deforms while being twisted.
Vehicle door structure
A vehicle door structure includes an inner panel, an outer panel, a guard beam and a reinforcing member. The guard beam extends laterally in a cavity between the inner and outer panels. The reinforcing member disposed in the cavity and being positioned on a floor of the vehicle door structure below the guard beam.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel that partially defines a cavity therein, a door handle assembly, a main reinforcing bracket, a first reinforcing bracket and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket has an upper end fixedly attached to the main reinforcing bracket and to a rearward area of the inner door panel within the cavity below the door handle assembly. The vibration absorbing member has an outboard surface, an inboard surface and a main projection that extends forward from the main body. The main projection is fixed to the first reinforcing bracket such that the main body is rearward of the first reinforcing bracket. The outboard surface is shaped and dimensioned to correspond to the overall shape of the inboard portion of the door handle assembly.
Door service hole cover
Systems and apparatus for a vehicle for improving occupant safety and covering a service hole of a door of the vehicle. The system includes a substantially flat body portion configured to cover the service hole. The system also includes a plurality of energy absorbers disposed across the body portion, each energy absorber having a top portion and one or more side walls surrounding the top portion and defining a cavity, each energy absorber having a closed end at the top portion and an open end opposite the closed end, each energy absorber configured to absorb energy and collapse when force is exerted by an object on the top portion, the object moving from the closed end toward the open end.
Reinforced vehicle door against side impact
A vehicle door for use in a vehicle body comprising a rocker (20) is described. The vehicle door comprises an inner door panel (11) and an outer door panel (13), wherein the door further comprises a reinforcement element (12) arranged in a lower portion of the door such that when the door is mounted in the vehicle body, the reinforcement element (12) is at the height of the rocker (20) and such that when a side impact is received by the door the reinforcement element with the inner door panel is supported by the vehicle rocker. The reinforcement element (12) is a U-shaped bracket that extends from the inner door panel (11) to the outer door panel (13), the U-shaped bracket (12) being arranged with an open side facing the inner panel. The disclosure further relates to a vehicle having a vehicle body that comprises a rocker and such a door.
