EXTERIOR PANEL STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
An exterior panel structure for a vehicle prevents unevenness caused by distortion of an outer surface of the exterior panel and keeps dents small even when a user presses the exterior panel from the outside. The exterior panel structure includes the exterior panel, and a reinforcing member having joint sections and coupling sections. The joint sections are separated from each other along an inner surface of the exterior panel, and each is joined to the inner surface of the exterior panel. The coupling section follows the inner surface of the exterior panel and couples the adjacent joint sections. The inner surface of the exterior panel and the coupling section abut each other when a pressing force equal to or larger than a specified value is applied inward in a thickness direction of the exterior panel from an outer surface of the exterior panel, and are otherwise separated from each other.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly includes an inner door panel that partially defines a cavity therein, a door handle assembly, a main reinforcing bracket, a first reinforcing bracket and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket has an upper end fixedly attached to the main reinforcing bracket and to a rearward area of the inner door panel within the cavity below the door handle assembly. The vibration absorbing member has an outboard surface, an inboard surface and a main projection that extends forward from the main body. The main projection is fixed to the first reinforcing bracket such that the main body is rearward of the first reinforcing bracket. The outboard surface is shaped and dimensioned to correspond to the overall shape of the inboard portion of the door handle assembly.
DOOR ASSEMBLY WITH COLLAPSIBLE CARRIER AND WATER SHIELD
A door assembly for a motor vehicle comprised of an outer door panel and an inner door panel interconnected to define a door panel structure having an internal door cavity. A collapsible carrier module is configured to be oriented in a collapsed arrangement to facilitate installation into the door cavity through an opening in the inner door panel. The collapsible carrier module can be moved from its collapsed arrangement into an expanded arrangement upon installation within the door cavity to facilitate subsequent mounting to the door panel structure. The collapsible carrier module includes a barrier configured to close off the opening in the inner panel.
Vehicle-body structure of vehicle
A vehicle-body structure of a vehicle comprises a vehicle-body frame member forming an opening portion for entrance at a vehicle side part and a front side door provided so as to open and close the opening portion, wherein the front side door comprises a door panel portion and reinforcement portions provided at a peripheral part of the door panel portion such that the reinforcement portions overlap with the vehicle-body frame member in a vehicle side view, the reinforcement portions being made of a plate member.
BUSHING FOR MANUFACTURING STRUCTURAL COMPOSITE PREFORM
Provided is a bushing for manufacturing a three-dimensional composite preform using a tow made of a fiber reinforced polymer. The bushing includes a base plate in which one or more through-holes are formed, and a plurality of spools spaced apart from each other on the base plate. A flat top is formed at an end portion of the spools, and grooves are formed on outer surfaces of the plurality of spools in a circumferential direction thereof.
High-performance sports car
A high-performance sports car having: a frame that supports a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels; a passenger compartment that is formed on the inside of the frame and is arranged between the front wheels and the rear wheels; at least one door, which is hinged to the frame to allow access to the passenger compartment; at least one seat, which is arranged inside the passenger compartment to the side of the door; and a rigid protection panel which is integral with the door and, when the door is closed, is arranged alongside the seat in line with the head of the occupant of the seat.
Stiffening structure and stiffening method for automotive door panel part
A stiffening structure for an automotive door panel part according to the present invention includes a door outer panel 3 made of a metal sheet curved along a height direction, and in which a character line 3a is formed; and an impact beam 5 disposed at an inner surface side of the door outer panel 3. The stiffening structure improves tensile rigidity of the door outer panel 3 by attaching a stiffening member 7 made of resin to the inner surface of the door outer panel 3. The stiffening member 7 includes vertical bone portions 9 extending in a streak shape from the impact beam 5 to the character line 3a along a curve of the door outer panel 3. The vertical bone portions 9 are arranged at a predetermined interval in a front-rear direction of the door outer panel 3, and outer surface of the vertical bone portions 9 is bonded to the inner surface of the door outer panel 3.
Inner vehicle door panel including impact beam
An inner door panel (30) for a vehicle side door that includes an integrated side impact beam (70) formed as part of the door in a die casting process. The inner door panel (30) includes an outer frame having a top rail (38), a bottom rail (40), an inner side rail (42) and an outer side rail (44) defining a central opening (34). The impact beam (70) includes a main beam portion (72), a first end support portion (74) and a second end support portion (78). The first end support portion is formed to the side rail (42) and the second end support portion (78) is formed to the outer side rail (44), where the main beam portion (72) extends across the opening (34).
INNER FACE OF A MOTOR-VEHICLE DOOR
The invention relates to an inner face of a motor vehicle door, more particularly the insert, more particularly the trim strip of the inner face, wherein the inner face, the insert or the trim strip has a reinforcement arranged in or on the material, more particularly in or on the plastic of the inner face, of the insert or of the trim strip, said reinforcement consisting of a textile, a metal profile, a metal foil, a plastic profile or a plastic film.
Bodywork part comprising a lock loop
A bodywork part of a motor vehicle includes a main body of plastic material and at least one structural reinforcement fastened at least partially to a first part main body. The piece also includes at least one connecting member of the first part and of a second part of the main body including an end, a portion of which forms a lock loop around a clamping element so as to secure the connecting member, the structural reinforcement and the first part.
