Panel door for vehicle having improved stiffness
A panel door applied for a vehicle including a stiffness member made of a plastic material and integrally formed on an internal surface of the panel door, includes an external panel, an internal panel coupled to the external panel, and a stiffness member formed to connect a frame forming a circumference and stiffness elements provided for reinforcing stiffness inside the frame and coupled to at least one of the external panel and the internal panel.
VEHICLE COMPONENT
A vehicle component (1) has a component part (2) for arranging on a vehicle door (10) of a motor vehicle (100). An alignment system (3) with an alignment element (4) and with a fixed point structure (5) is arranged on the vehicle door (10) for aligning the component part (2) in a defined mounting position. The alignment element (4) comprises a first connecting portion (14) for fastening to the fixed point structure (5) and a second connecting portion (24) for fastening the component part (2). Starting from the fixed point structure (5), the component part (2) is thereby positionable in the defined mounting position by the alignment element (4). The fixed point structure (5) is a door lock device (6), and the component part (2) is a paneling component part (7) of the vehicle door (10).
Bodywork or chassis component for a motor vehicle, particularly a door for a motor vehicle
A bodywork or chassis component for a vehicle includes a first sheet having a first connection flange and a second sheet having a second connection flange, the first and second sheets being joined in correspondence of the respective first and second connection flanges. The first connection flange is a flange folded back towards the first sheet so as to define a valley with the first sheet. The second connection flange is overlapped to said first connection flange for an overlap length and it is at least in part joined to said first connection flange by a welding at that joins a perimeter edge of the second connection flange to a side of the first connection flange external with respect to said valley. The first and second connection flanges are parallel to one another in correspondence of the overlap length. The invention further includes a method for manufacturing of the aforementioned component.
Control system for vehicle doors
Techniques for controlling a vehicle based on a collision avoidance algorithm are discussed herein. The vehicle receives sensor data and can determine that the sensor data represents an object in an environment through which the vehicle is travelling. A computing device associated with the vehicle determines a collision probability between the vehicle and the object at predicted locations of the vehicle and object at a first time. Updated locations of the vehicle and object can be determined, and a second collision probability can be determined. The vehicle is controlled based at least in part on the collision probabilities.
Different materials panel structure
Provided is a different materials panel structure having reduced occurrence of displacement or warping of a joining section and having excellent external appearance of an outer panel (2). The different materials panel structure has: an outer panel comprising a first metal material; an inner panel (3) arranged on the lower surface side of the outer panel and comprising a second metal material having a higher fusion point than the first metal material; and a rivet (6) comprising the same material as the second metal material and comprising a head section and a shaft section. An outer panel comprises a hemmed section formed by folding a rim section and which supports the inner panel via an adhesive layer (9). The head section of the rivet remains on the outer panel surface. The shaft section of the rivet penetrates from the lower surface side of the hemmed section of the outer panel towards the inner panel. A tip of the shaft section is spot-welded to the inner panel and a protruding section (3a) is provided in the inner panel at a position corresponding to the rivet and protruding in the axial direction of the rivet. A heat insulation section (8) comprising the adhesive layer or the adhesive layer and a gap is formed between the protruding section after welding and the outer panel.
FRAMELESS VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
The disclosed frameless vehicle door assembly according to various aspects of the subject technology may be attachable to a vehicle body of a UTV or other 44 vehicle. The frameless vehicle door assembly may include an interior cover formed in a manner to enclose the internals of the vehicle body and provide structural rigidity to the door assembly. The frameless vehicle door assembly may also include a joint enabling the interior cover to pivot with respect to the vehicle body and an outer cover securely mounted to the interior cover using fasteners, wherein the outer cover completes the door assembly.
VEHICULAR DOOR STRUCTURE
A vehicular door structure includes a door inner panel in which a work aperture is formed, a sealing sheet configured to close the work aperture, a sealing compound application section formed at the door inner panel, and an attachment member configured to hold a wire-shaped member and attach the wire-shaped member to the door inner panel, wherein the attachment member is disposed in the middle of an extension direction of the sealing compound application section, and a sealing compound configured to adhere the sealing sheet to the door inner panel side is continuously applied across the sealing compound application section and the attachment member.
Plastic stiffening panel for a door, comprising a mounting mechanism for a window lift system
A stiffening panel for a motor vehicle door, for example a side door. The stiffening panel is arranged between a structure of the door, which structure can be made of plastic, located on a side of a passenger compartment of the vehicle and configured to absorb majority of external impacts on the door, in particular front and side impacts on the side door, and at least one decorative outer panel which can be made of plastic and mounted on the structure. The stiffening panel can be made from a plastic material and stiffen the decorative outer panel to enable the outer panel to withstand external impacts on the door from the opposite side of the passenger compartment. The stiffening panel includes mounting elements for a window lift system. The stiffening panel is arranged between the decorative outer panel and a window supported by the window lift system mounted on the stiffening panel.
