METHOD FOR PRODUCING A REINFORCING COMPONENT AND COMPONENT
20190315024 · 2019-10-17 ·

A method for producing a reinforcing component from different materials, wherein, in a first step, the component is produced in a first mould by plastics injection-moulding with foaming of the plastics material used and by reducing large cross sections of the component by insert parts of the same plastics material, wherein, in a second step, at least one type of fibre is wound around the component, and wherein, in the third method step, the component as a whole is overmoulded with plastic of a second plastics material in a second mould.

A vehicular interior component includes a body member being in form of a plate shape having a plate surface, a skin disposed on the plate surface of the body member, the skin including an elastic layer that is on the plate surface of the body member and is not electrically conductive and has elasticity and an electricity removal surface layer that is disposed on the elastic layer and configured as a surface of the skin and has static dissipative properties, and an electrically conductive member being electrically conductive and disposed on the body member, the electrically conductive member including a retainer that retains an edge portion of the skin. The elastic layer included in the edge portion of the skin is compressed by the retainer from an electricity removal surface layer side and the electrically conductive member is to be electrically connected to a metal panel.

Vehicle door

A vehicle door includes a door box with first and second walls and a second wall and a window frame module, in which a window frame, a first window shaft reinforcement and a second window shaft reinforcement are connected into a structural unit. The first window shaft reinforcement features a groove that accommodates an upper edge of the first wall. An upper edge of the second wall is covered by the second window shaft reinforcement.

COMPOSITE VEHICLE DOOR COMPONENTS FORMED BY SHEET MOLDING COMPOUND-RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING ASSEMBLIES

A lightweight and simplified vehicle door assembly is provided with four main components, an upper frame positioned about the window, an inner frame structure, an outer body panel, and a composite reinforcement component. The composite reinforcement component provides an all-in-one solution for a side impact cross beam, as well as an upper door reinforcement, a front door pillar reinforcement, and a rear door pillar reinforcement. The composite reinforcement component acts to reinforce the overall door structure, offers resistance to a side impact that limits the intrusion into the passenger compartment, and offers resistance to a frontal impact by maintaining the spacing between the vehicle A and B pillars (for a front door) and pillar C and D for a back door. A coupe vehicle door in which there is no window frame may be reinforced with the composite reinforcement component. The composite reinforcement component may have continuous or chopped fibers.

VEHICLE REAR DOOR MADE OF RESIN

A vehicle rear door made of resin includes an inner panel having a rear window opening, a lower outer panel including an edge portion which is secured to the inner panel along a periphery portion of the rear window opening, a rear window glass attached to the edge portion of the lower outer panel on an exterior side of a passenger compartment, and an interior trim attached to the interior panel on an interior side of the passenger compartment. An edge portion of the interior trim is secured to a rib of the inner panel disposed at a front edge of the inner panel along the peripheral portion of the rear window opening.

Vehicle door structure

A vehicle door structure includes an outer door panel made of resin, etc. The outer door panel has an attenuated portion. The attenuated portion is provided along a boundary line that divides the outer door panel into at least a first region that includes the outer door handle and other regions.

Reinforcing element for a closed section and manufacturing method

An exemplary reinforcing element (104) may be configured to be received within a longitudinally extending cavity (C) defined by a structure (102). The reinforcing element may include a base portion (106) having a bonding material (108, 160) applied thereon, and a member (110, 150) selectively secured to the base portion and configured to selectively extend away from the base portion when the reinforcing element is received within the cavity. Accordingly, the reinforcing element may define a first length (L1) when the member is in a first position with respect to the base portion, and a second length (L1+L2) when the member is in a second position extending away from the base portion, the second length being greater than the first length. The selectively extending arrangement of the reinforcing element may generally allow improved ease and accuracy of installing the reinforcing element within a generally closed structure.

RESIN BACK DOOR FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A resin back door includes a resin inner panel, a resin lower outer panel, and a metal reinforcing member disposed in a hollow space defined by the inner panel and the lower outer panel. In the resin back door, the reinforcing member has an annular shape extending along an outer peripheral edge of the inner panel, and includes right and left reinforcing members and a lower-side reinforcing member which are separated from each other and fixed to the inner panel with an adhesive leaving a gap. The reinforcing members are connected by using right and left corner connecting members and an upper connecting member to constitute the reinforcing member.

DOOR FOR VEHICLE

A door of a vehicle may include a first door module forming a door skeleton; a second door module coupled with the first door module and forming a door window; and a door frame coupled to the first door module and engaged with the second door module; wherein the second door module may include a relatively lightweight material as compared to the first door module, reducing weight and cost of the door for a vehicle.

RESIN BACK DOOR

A resin back door includes an inner panel, an upper outer panel, and a reinforcing member fixed to the inner panel, and the upper outer panel and the reinforcing member are fastened with a bolt. In the resin back door, the reinforcing member has a flat plate portion extending along an inner surface of the upper outer panel, the reinforcing member has a fastened portion formed as an arm extending after bending from the flat plate portion toward the upper outer panel, and the upper outer panel has a fastened portion formed as a thin thickness portion having a plate thickness smaller than that of a general portion.
