Method for the Production of Fiber Composite Component
A method produces a fiber composite component according to which a fiber arrangement having carbon fibers as reinforcing fibers is arranged on a carrier material having a fibrous material in order to form a structure. A covering layer having a non-conductive material is arranged on the structure. The carbon fibers are arranged largely in the load path direction of the fiber composite component to be produced, and regions of the fiber composite component to be penetrated by electromagnetic signals and/or waves are configured such that they are largely free of carbon fibers.
Door for vehicle
A door of a vehicle may include a first door module forming a door skeleton; a second door module coupled with the first door module and forming a door window; and a door frame coupled to the first door module and engaged with the second door module; wherein the second door module may include a relatively lightweight material as compared to the first door module, reducing weight and cost of the door for the vehicle.
Utility vehicle half door
A utility vehicle half door includes a unitary molded plastic body that is symmetrical and identical on both a first surface and second surface. Hinge knuckles are integral with the unitary molded plastic body for hinged mounting to the left or right side of a utility vehicle. An interior panel subassembly with the door release handle and door latch may be attached to one of the first and second surfaces.
VEHICLE DOOR WITH CARRIER MODULE HAVING SUSTAINABLE CARRIER
A carrier of a carrier module for a motor vehicle door assembly and method of manufacture thereof is provided. The carrier has a body with opposite wet and dry sides bounded by an outer periphery configured for attachment to an inner panel of the motor vehicle door assembly. The body is made of a recyclable, environmentally sustainable natural fibrous material.
Method and apparatus for nonwoven trim panels
A method of forming a trim panel is provided. The method including the steps of: placing a non-woven mat of material in a heating press; heating the material to a predetermined temperature; applying a decorative film to a first surface of the heated material to create a bilaminate; placing the bilaminate layer into a cavity of a tool such that the decorative film is facing the cavity; heating the cavity; and injecting a thermoplastic resin into the tool such that the thermoplastic resin is adhered to a second surface of the material, the second surface being opposite to the first surface.
VEHICLE BACK DOOR INNER PANEL
The present disclosure provides a vehicle back door inner panel containing synthetic resin as a constituent material. The inner panel includes an opening, an upper portion, a skirt portion, and two side portions. The opening is provided with a back window. The upper portion is closer to a vehicle top than the opening, extending in a vehicle width direction. The upper portion is provided with two door hinge portions at left and right ends. The skirt portion is closer to a vehicle bottom than the opening. The skirt portion is provided with a latch attachment portion at a lower end. The side portions are on left and right sides of the opening, extending in a vehicle top-bottom direction. The side portions connect the upper portion and the side portions. The side portions have a hat-shaped cross section open toward a rear side of the vehicle. The skirt portion has two connecting portions each having a hat-shaped cross section open toward the rear side of the vehicle. The connecting portions are at left and right sides of an upper end of the skirt portion. The connecting portions are connected to lower ends of the side portions. The skirt portion has a skeletal portion open toward the rear side of the vehicle. The skeletal portion extends obliquely upward relative to the vehicle width direction from left and right sides of the latch attachment portion to reach the connecting portions. The side portions, connecting portions and skeletal portion form left and right skeletal structures continuous from the respective door hinge attachment portions to the latch attachment portion.
Lighting systems of tailgates with plastic glazing
A plastic glazing of a tailgate of a vehicle is provided, the plastic glazing comprising: a first translucent component; a second translucent component molded onto the first translucent component, wherein the second translucent component comprises a color, wherein the plastic glazing is of one-piece molded plastic construction, wherein an overlapping portion of the first translucent component and the second translucent component forms a lens of a first molded light assembly.
Vehicle door or tailgate with support structure and method for the production of such
A vehicle door or tailgate, in particular for motor vehicles, with a frame which is formed as a support structure of the door or tailgate and is separate from an exterior and/or interior trim, wherein the frame is produced separately from plastic and/or a composite material, wherein the frame comprises at least two components which are connected to one another, and wherein the at least two components have connection means which comprise tongue and groove connections.
Door for vehicle
A door of a vehicle may include a first door module forming a door skeleton; and a second door module coupled with the first door module and forming a door window; wherein the second door module includes a relatively lightweight material as compared to the first door module; a reinforcement member is inserted along an edge portion forming the door window of the second door module; and a stepped portion is formed at the reinforcement member, reducing weight and cost of the door of the vehicle.
