Backdoor and rear glass
A backdoor includes a resin outer panel having an opening; a resin inner panel; a metal reinforcement arranged between the outer panel and the inner panel; and a rear glass covering the opening. The rear glass includes a defogger, and an antenna conductor capable of receiving radio waves in an AM band. The antenna conductor includes a power feeding part, and an antenna element having a predetermined length and connected to the power feeding part. The antenna element includes a proximity part extending along an outer edge among upper, lower, left, and right outer edges of the defogger, and having a predetermined spacing from the outer edge. The antenna element is positioned to be separated from the reinforcement by a predetermined spacing, or positioned on a side with respect to the outer edge where the reinforcement is not present in plan view of the rear glass.
Liftgate operation systems and methods
Multi-mode personal transportation and delivery devices and methods of use are disclosed herein. A method can include providing a preview of an opening height of a tailgate to a user, where the opening height is defined by a distance of liftgate that is measured relative to a ground plane, receiving feedback to adjust the opening height, creating a customized liftgate opening height from the feedback, and storing the customized liftgate opening height in a user account.
Back door handle device and method for manufacturing same
A back door handle device includes a switch to output a signal for unlocking or locking the back door, a switch knob to supplement actuating force of the switch, a housing for receiving the switch and the switch knob, and an outer cover that covers the housing. The switch knob includes an operating portion that is moved from an initial position to a switch position, a spring section that, when the operating portion is moved from the initial position toward the switch position, is elastically deformed to produce elastic force in such a direction as to return the operating portion to the initial position, and a temporary fixing portion that prevents such movement of the switch knob that the operating portion is moved from the initial position to the opposite side to the switch position. The signal is output from the switch when the operating portion reaches the switch position.
COUPLING STRUCTURE OF REAR END MODULE AND TAILGATE STRIKER
Provided is a coupling structure of a rear end module and a tailgate striker. The coupling structure includes a rear end module formed by injection and coupled to a circumference of a rear opening of a vehicle; a rear end module reinforcing member fastened to an inner surface of the rear end module; a striker reinforcing member fastened to one side of a lower end of the rear opening and coupled to the rear end module reinforcing member; and a striker fastened to an upper portion of the striker reinforcing member.
Vehicle body structure
A vehicle body structure defines a vehicle longitudinal direction and a vehicle lateral direction perpendicular to the vehicle longitudinal direction and includes a rear sill structure. The rear sill assembly at least partially defines a rear opening of the vehicle body structure. The rear sill assembly extends in the vehicle lateral direction. The rear sill assembly includes a first body panel and a second body panel. The first body panel extends from a first side of the rear opening to a second side of the rear opening. The second body panel overlays a portion of the first body panel. The second body panel has a main section that includes a plurality of recessed rib portions that extend in directions that define an acute angle relative to the vehicle longitudinal direction.
OPENING AND CLOSING MEMBER
An opening and closing member is attachable, in an openable and closable manner, to a rear opening of a vehicle body via a pair of hinges. The opening and closing member includes an outer panel and a reinforcing member. The outer panel and the reinforcing member form a window frame. The reinforcing member has closed section parts formed by an outer reinforcing member and an inner reinforcing member. The closed section parts have a pair of front-rear closed section parts that extend in a vehicle body front-rear direction, and a pair of inclined closed section parts that respectively extend from ends, located adjacent to a vehicle body front side, of the pair of front-rear closed section parts, and that respectively incline inwardly in the vehicle body width direction. Open section parts are respectively provided between the hinges and the front-rear closed section parts.
Asymmetrical tailgate
A tailgate assembly mounted along an open edge of a vehicle's load carrying bed includes a frame having a first or proximal lateral side adapted to be hingedly connected for opening in a swing open mode and a second or distal lateral side oppositely positioned relative to the first lateral side. The tailgate assembly further includes a reinforcement frame component overlaid onto the frame at the first lateral side to increase torsional stiffness at or near the first lateral side.
VEHICLE
A vehicle may include: a vehicle body including an opening in a rear portion thereof; a door configured to close the opening; and a hinge swingably connecting the door to the vehicle body. The vehicle body may further include: a frame extending along an upper edge of the opening in a left-right direction of the vehicle; and a rear header located between the frame and the upper edge of the opening. The rear header may include: a hinge mounting portion to which the hinge is attached; and an intermediate portion located between the hinge mounting portion and the frame. The intermediate portion may be located below the hinge mounting portion in an up-down direction of the vehicle. The intermediate portion of the rear header may have a lower flexural strength than the frame against a collision load. that acts in a front-rear direction of the vehicle.
DRIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR A FLAP OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The disclosure relates to a drive arrangement for a flap of a motor vehicle, comprising a linear drive for producing drive movements and comprising a transmission arrangement, which is coupled to said linear drive, for transmitting the drive movements, a compensating arrangement being provided which couples two drive elements of the drive arrangement to each other in terms of drive, and, when a limit load between the two drive elements is exceeded, the compensating arrangement permitting a guided compensating movement between the two drive elements. It is proposed that the transmission arrangement provides the compensating arrangement.
OPENING AND CLOSING BODY DRIVE DEVICE
An opening and closing body drive device includes: an opening and closing body; a latch mechanism; an opening and closing body drive section; a control section; and a movement sensor, wherein the control section includes a middle reference count value and a pushing count value, and the control section compares the current count value acquired by the movement sensor when the opening and closing body becomes the predetermined state with the latch mechanism and the middle reference count value with each other and corrects the current count value, and the control section assumes that the opening and closing body has arrived the fully-closed position when the opening and closing body has moved by an amount corresponding to the pushing count value from a count value corresponding to the middle reference count value and stops driving of the opening and closing body drive section.
