DEVICE FOR COLLECTING GARDEN DEBRIS
20220304256 · 2022-09-29 ·

Device for collecting garden debris from the ground. The device includes a pair of bodies and a pair of handles. Each body defines opposed ends and a collection structure extending at least partially between the ends. The bodies are configured to be pivotally securable to each other about an axis arranged adjacent one of the ends of each body such that the collection structures are opposed and extend substantially radially away from the axis. Each handle is configured to be connected to one of the bodies at a position spaced radially from the axis. Operating the handles causes the bodies to pivot between an open position, to allow dragging the bodies along the ground to gather garden debris between the collection structures, and a closed to allow trapping the gathered garden debris between the bodies.

A turf sweeper includes a hopper mounted on a frame. A debris loading duct mounted on the frame includes an intake opening supported in closely spaced relation above the ground and a discharge opening at a discharge end communicating with a hopper inlet. A broom is rotatably mounted within an intake section of the debris loading duct proximate and across the intake opening. A paddle rotor, having a plurality of paddles outwardly projecting paddles is rotatably mounted within and across a transfer section of the debris loading duct with a path of rotation of tips of the paddles extending in closely spaced relation to a path of rotation of tips of the pick-up members of the pick-up head. A return air duct flow connects a return air outlet to the hopper with a return air opening through the transfer section of the debris loading duct.

CLEANING DEVICE

The invention relates to a cleaning device with a frame that can be driven on a ground surface and with a vibrating screen which is mounted on the frame such that it can be moved to a limited extent and which is connected to a contact element. A vibrating roller is attached to the frame such that it can be rotated about a rotary axis, and it has an outer surface, in which radial elevations are formed. A pre-tensioning element pre-tensions the vibrating screen such that the contact element lies against the vibrating roller.

Systems and methods for treating artificial turf

A method of reducing or preventing the transfer of pathogens between individuals interacting on artificial turf comprises treating the various components of the artificial turf with a residual antimicrobial coating composition. Treating the artificial turf comprises moving an artificial turf treatment apparatus over the turf in at least one pass, the apparatus being capable of liberating particles of infill material out from between the plastic blades of grass of the artificial turf and spraying the particles with the residual antimicrobial coating composition while the particles are in the air above the turf.

GRASS TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
20220192109 · 2022-06-23 ·

A method of removing debris from an area of turf grass can include providing a grass treatment system including a comb having a leading edge comprising a plurality of comb teeth, wherein the comb is mounted transversely to a direction of travel, and a substantially cylindrical brush positioned above the comb and configured to engage at least a portion of a top surface of the comb, wherein the brush rotates relative to the comb. The method can include positioning the grass treatment system closely adjacent to the turf grass such that the comb engages debris on and around the turf grass surface, and moving the grass treatment so that (i) the comb engages the debris, (ii) the rotating brush removes at least a portion of the debris from the surface of the comb, and (iii) the rotating brush does not come into contact with the turf grass.
