Liftgate cargo module
A liftgate cargo module having an integrated tailgate that unfolds from a hatch or liftgate of a vehicle that adds additional storage and provides a cargo load floor. When unfolded, there is an integrated pass through door formed in the hatch or liftgate permitting longer items to be hauled, while keeping the hatch or liftgate completely closed. The integrated tailgate includes an integrated tailgate taillight that indicates when the vehicle is braking or backing up. The integrated tailgate taillight also helps to show that the integrated tailgate is folded down from and extending from the hatch or liftgate of the vehicle. The integrated tailgate also includes integrated anchor points formed on the cargo load floor so items may be tied down and secured. An all-weather enclosure that is connectable to the cargo load floor for enclosing contents that are being hauled on the integrated tailgate may also be provided.
BACKDOOR STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
A backdoor structure for a vehicle, the backdoor structure comprising an upper window and a lower window, a rear spoiler disposed between the windows and projecting toward the rear of the vehicle, a backdoor frame supporting both windows and the rear spoiler, and a resin panel, wherein the resin panel comprises a window portion functioning as the lower window and a spoiler portion functioning as the rear spoiler, the window portion and the spoiler portion being integrated by resin molding.
VEHICLE AND BACK DOOR
A back door attached to a rear of a vehicle body includes an inner panel, an outer panel facing the inner panel, a first reinforcing member laid on an outer side of the vehicle body and fixed to the inner panel together with a hinge, and a second reinforcing member including a porous portion and arranged to fill a first space between the first reinforcing member and the outer panel on an outer side in a width direction of the vehicle body from a hinge support that supports the hinge to overlap at least a part of a glass upper edge of a back window glass.
OVERMOLDING ASSEMBLY REINFORCEMENT BRACKET
A liftgate (28) formed with a thermoplastic which is overmolded around preselected reinforcements at stress points, such as a corner area, which includes a pair of separate reinforcement plates (14,18) and wherein a 3-dimensional reinforcement plate (12) is connected between the pair of separate reinforcements (14,18). Preferably the 3-dimensional reinforcement plate is connected to three reinforcements.
Frame structure for a vehicle door in particular a tailgate of a vehicle
A frame structure for a vehicle door and a method of manufacture thereof is disclosed. In particular, a tailgate includes at least two tubular parts which are flexurally deformed in the direction of their longitudinal extension and connected to each other to form a ring structure. The ring structure is incorporated into a structural unit with the frame structure in a tailgate of a motor vehicle.
Vehicle
This vehicle has a travel drive system including a travel power source and an energy source for this travel power source, wherein an outlet for discharging waste generated by the travel drive system faces the rear surface of the vehicle body. The outlet is offset in the vehicle width direction relative to a passenger opening. Further, relative to the center line between the center line of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction and the end portion of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction, the outlet is positioned to the end portion side of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction. Relative to the center line between the center line and the end portion in the vehicle width direction, the right and left edges of the passenger opening are positioned to the side of the center line of the vehicle body in the vehicle width direction.
Vehicle
This vehicle is provided with: a window opening and a secondary window opening, which are formed adjacent to each other in a vehicle body; a window panel for covering the window opening; a secondary window panel for covering the secondary window opening; and a wiper device for wiping both the window panel and the secondary window panel. The wiper device is provided with a wiper blade that is capable of passing over a boundary between the window panel and the secondary window panel to continuously wipe from the window panel to the secondary window panel.
Garnish structure for lower door
A garnish structure includes a garnish unit configured to be located on a surface of a lower door and to perform impact absorption and load support, wherein the garnish unit includes a first layer region configured to absorb energy, and a second layer region configured to withstand a collision. The garnish unit further includes a garnish panel forming an outer surface of the garnish unit, a first impact member formed inside the garnish panel, an absorbing member located in the first layer region, a spring member located inside the absorbing member, a second impact member formed inside the first impact member, and a damping spring located in the second layer region.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL VEHICLE COMPONENT CONSTRUCT
A vehicle component construct and process of making the same including a frame formed of a composite sandwich panel material and a window formed of a transparent resin within the frame. The composite sandwich panel material of the frame including an open area core defining a plurality of pores, a high gloss surface sheet adhered to a first face of the open area core by a first adhesive layer, and a structural skin adhered to a second face of the open area core by a second adhesive layer. The frame defining a through opening that extends from an exterior surface of the frame to an oppositely opposed interior surface of the frame. The window being formed within the through opening of the frame.
Bodywork part comprising a lock loop
A bodywork part of a motor vehicle includes a main body of plastic material and at least one structural reinforcement fastened at least partially to a first part main body. The piece also includes at least one connecting member of the first part and of a second part of the main body including an end, a portion of which forms a lock loop around a clamping element so as to secure the connecting member, the structural reinforcement and the first part.
