OVERHEAD TRUCK DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING MECHANISM
An opening and closing mechanism for a roll-up cargo door for a truck is intended to decrease injuries to the people who load and unload items from box trucks and semi-trailers. The mechanism allows the user to open and close the overhead roll-up door of these trucks while standing firmly and safely on the ground at the rear corner of the truck. The door opening and closing mechanism is in the form of a loop of material that is attached to a lower portion of the roll-up door and a guide disposed near the top of the door frame. The loop is disposed along one of the vertical frame members of the door so that it is out of the way of the cargo hold when the door is open.
OVERHEAD DOOR ROTATING SEAL
Embodiments of the invention provide a door sealing system for an overhead door assembly of a vehicle comprises a rotating seal apparatus. The overhead door assembly includes a door frame and a door panel. The rotating seal apparatus comprises a rod, a first seal, and a second seal. When the door panel is in a closed position, the rod is actuatable, so that, when actuated, the rod is rotated, compressing the seal against the door panel and compressing the second seal against the door frame.
Door strap system
A door strap system includes a trailer that may contain cargo. The trailer has an outer wall and a rear side and the rear side is open to access an interior of the trailer. A door is slidably coupled to the trailer and the door is positionable between an open position and a closed position. A lift truck is selectively driven through the rear side of the trailer when the lift truck loads and unloads the trailer. A strap is coupled to the door thereby facilitating the door to be pulled downwardly into the closed position. A retention unit is coupled to the strap and the retention unit selectively engages the outer wall of the trailer such that the lift truck is inhibited from contacting the strap when the lift truck is driven through the rear side.

Vertically Collapsible Semi-Truck Trailer
Methods of transporting a plurality of freight containers are disclosed, including stacking one or more containers on a transportation vehicle, where one or more of the stacked containers is a vertically collapsible container in a collapsed position, where at least one of the vertically collapsible containers includes: a frame assembly including: a plurality of rectangular frame members; a plurality of articulated vertical frame members disposed between the rectangular frame members; and where the articulated vertical frame members are positioned and arranged to retract to within the frame assembly; a lifting mechanism positioned and arranged to elevate the rectangular frame members from each other; and where the lifting mechanism is disposed between the uppermost rectangular frame member of the frame assembly and the lowermost rectangular frame member of the frame assembly.

Vertically collapsible semi-truck trailer
A collapsible container including frame assembly, a lifting mechanism, a retractable side wall, a retractable end wall, a top member, and a bottom member is disclosed. The frame assembly includes rectangular frame members and articulated vertical frame members disposed between the rectangular frame members. At least one rectangular frame member includes a receptacle member. The articulated vertical frame members are positioned and arranged to retract within the frame assembly. The lifting mechanism is positioned and arranged to elevate the rectangular frame members from each other. The retractable side wall is positioned and arranged to retract into a receptacle member. The retractable end wall is positioned and arranged to retract into a receptacle member. The top member is disposed on an uppermost rectangular frame member. APPARATUS FOR RAISING PANEL TRUCK DOORS
The apparatus operates roll up doors used on commercial vehicles by employing dual powered opener/closer motors. The motors are mounted along the door tracks and there is no motor unit that must be mounted in the cargo space of the truck in the matter of a garage door opener the current invention is more suited for commercial vehicle use. The motors are synchronized in order to avoid having the door jam, or otherwise damaging the door, due to one side of the door raising or lowering more quickly than the other. The motors may have integrated rechargeable batteries so that the motors and door move along the tracks with wires.
