A guide block for a sunroof of an automobile including a front channel extending upwards and connecting to a lower channel at a first angle with respect to the lower channel forming a first path, and a rear channel extending upwards and connecting to an upper channel at a second angle with respect to an upper channel forming a second path, where the first path intersects the second path at a cross-over region.

A removable roof panel system for a vehicle, includes a frame structure configured to be mounted to a roof of the vehicle. A front panel is removably mounted to the frame structure and including a front glass panel and a front panel frame. A rear panel is removably mounted to the frame structure and includes a rear glass panel and a rear panel frame. The frame structure includes a trough portion and supports a first seal configured to be disposed between the roof of the vehicle and the front and rear glass panels and a second seal disposed between the front and rear panel frames and the frame structure. A front latch system releasably secures the front panel to the frame structure and a rear latch system releasably secures the rear panel to the frame structure.

Provided is a deflector structure for a sunroof device, including: a thin cloth member that extends in a tensioned state to smooth a drive airflow when a roof panel is opened, and is folded when the roof panel is closed; a housing section that is disposed below the roof panel to house the folded thin cloth member; a lower holder provided at the housing section to fix a lower end portion of the thin cloth member; and an upper holder that is fixed at an upper end portion of the thin cloth member, and is housed together with the thin cloth member into the housing section when the roof panel is closed.

Provided is a deflector structure for a sunroof device, including: a thin cloth member that extends in a tensioned state to smooth a drive airflow when a roof panel is opened, and is folded when the roof panel is closed; a housing section that is disposed below the roof panel to house the folded thin cloth member; a lower holder provided at the housing section to fix a lower end portion of the thin cloth member; and an upper holder that is fixed at an upper end portion of the thin cloth member, and is housed together with the thin cloth member into the housing section when the roof panel is closed.

A moveable panel system for a vehicle comprises: non-parallel tracks on a body of the vehicle, the body having an opening; a panel sized to cover the opening; a transverse guide member on the panel; and compensation drive mechanisms that couple the panel to the respective non-parallel tracks, each of the compensation drive mechanisms moveable along the transverse guide member and moveable in one of the non-parallel tracks.

A wind deflector assembly includes a flexible wind deflecting material attached by a lower connecting part to a stationary part and by an upper connecting part to an upper elongate member to keep the flexible wind deflecting material taut in at least an effective position. The flexible wind deflecting material comprises a frontal part extending substantially along the front of a roof opening and further a lateral part extending from the frontal part to an end part of the flexible wind deflecting material near a hinge member. The flexible wind deflecting material comprises a first area having a first weaving density and at least a second area having a second weaving density. The second area is shaped as a strip and extends at least partly in the frontal part and in the lateral part and is bound by flexible wind deflecting material having a different weaving density.

In a window module including a molding molded along the peripheral part of a window panel in situ, the deformation of the molding due to the shrinkage following the molding process is controlled. The window module comprises a window panel and a molding molded on and attached to a peripheral part of the window panel. The molding comprises a base portion extending along and attached to the peripheral part and a projection projecting from and extending along the peripheral part, and the projection is provided with an easily deformable portion at least in a part of the projection located along a lengthwise direction of the peripheral part, the easily deformable portion being deformable in the lengthwise direction of the peripheral part more readily than a remaining part of the projection.

In a window module including a molding molded along the peripheral part of a window panel in situ, the deformation of the molding due to the shrinkage following the molding process is controlled. The window module comprises a window panel and a molding molded on and attached to a peripheral part of the window panel. The molding comprises a base portion extending along and attached to the peripheral part and a projection projecting from and extending along the peripheral part, and the projection is provided with an easily deformable portion at least in a part of the projection located along a lengthwise direction of the peripheral part, the easily deformable portion being deformable in the lengthwise direction of the peripheral part more readily than a remaining part of the projection.

A vehicle roof which can be opened, comprising a cover that can be moved between a closed position and an open position in which the cover is raised at least at the rear edge of the cover and is at least partly moved over an adjoining roof portion. The cover is supported by means of a front bearing device, which can be moved by a drive device, such that the cover can be moved along a front guide rail and by means of a rear bearing device such that the cover can be raised over the adjoining roof portion and moved along a rear guide rail.

A vehicle roof which can be opened, comprising a cover that can be moved between a closed position and an open position in which the cover is raised at least at the rear edge of the cover and is at least partly moved over an adjoining roof portion. The cover is supported by means of a front bearing device, which can be moved by a drive device, such that the cover can be moved along a front guide rail and by means of a rear bearing device such that the cover can be raised over the adjoining roof portion and moved along a rear guide rail.
