A drive mechanism for vehicle movable panels having a first slide mechanism having a rod and a sled with a tilt lever, the rod being coupled with the tilt lever for pivoting the tilt lever in a first state and the rod being decoupled from the tilt lever in a second state such that the tilt lever is movable relative to the rod and relative to the guide rail along the first direction, the sled comprising a holding element. In a first position the holding element is locked to the guide rail such that the sled is latched relative to the guide rail and in a second position the sled is movable relative to the guide rail to transmit a movement of the sled along the first direction to a second slide mechanism and the holding element holds the tilt lever, when the rod is decoupled from the tilt lever.

An articulating roof top cover assembly for a vehicle adapted for sealing engagement with an existing portion of a hard top roof. The articulating roof top cover assembly includes an articulating portion incorporating at least a rotatable portion and slidable portion. The articulating portion is movable between at least a closed position adapted to close off the front vehicle compartment, an open sunroof position exposing the front driver/passenger compartment for an open air feel, and a further open position exposing the rear passenger compartment for an open air feel.

An open-roof assembly for covering or at least partly uncovering an opening in a vehicle roof comprises a moveably arranged closure member, a lighting assembly and a frame member. The lighting assembly comprises a switch device and a light source. The switch device is configured and arranged to either detect presence of a detectable part of the open-roof assembly relative to the switch device without physically contacting the detectable part, when the closure member is in a closed position covering the opening in the vehicle roof, or detect absence of the detectable part, when the closure member is in a position at least partly uncovering the opening in the vehicle roof. The lighting assembly is configured to switch off the light source, when the switch device detects absence of the detectable part.

An open-roof assembly for covering or at least partly uncovering an opening in a vehicle roof comprises a moveably arranged closure member, a lighting assembly and a frame member. The lighting assembly comprises a switch device and a light source. The switch device is configured and arranged to either detect presence of a detectable part of the open-roof assembly relative to the switch device without physically contacting the detectable part, when the closure member is in a closed position covering the opening in the vehicle roof, or detect absence of the detectable part, when the closure member is in a position at least partly uncovering the opening in the vehicle roof. An apparatus for preventing an inflow of dust in a rear rail of a sunroof may include a rear rail of a sunroof; a tilt lever which has one end portion coupled to a moving glass and the other end portion positioned on the rear rail, and slides along a trajectory of the rear rail; a tilt lever shoe which is positioned at the other end portion of the tilt lever, and configured to be fastened by being fitted with the rear rail; and at least one guide rail which is positioned at the rear rail in a width direction of a vehicle, in which the tilt lever shoe is positioned to surround upper and lower portions of the guide rail, and the guide rail is configured to be sealed to prevent dust from flowing into the rear rail.

Vehicle canopy extension
A canopy extension system attachable to a vehicle main passenger compartment canopy. The canopy extension system comprises an extension panel connectable to a main canopy of a vehicle. The extension panel comprises a head section structured to overlap at least a portion of, and connect to, at least one of the main canopy and at least one main canopy support strut, and a cantilever tail section structured to be cantilevered from an edge of the main canopy when the head section is connected to the main canopy. The canopy extension system additionally comprises at least one connector assembly structured to connect the head section to the main canopy such that the cantilever tail section will be cantilevered from the edge of the main canopy.

A canopy extension system attachable to a vehicle main passenger compartment canopy. The canopy extension system comprises an extension panel connectable to a main canopy of a vehicle. The extension panel comprises a head section structured to overlap at least a portion of, and connect to, at least one of the main canopy and at least one main canopy support strut, and a cantilever tail section structured to be cantilevered from an edge of the main canopy when the head section is connected to the main canopy. The canopy extension system additionally comprises at least one connector assembly structured to connect the head section to the main canopy such that the cantilever tail section will be cantilevered from the edge of the main canopy.

An open roof construction for a vehicle having a roof opening in a fixed roof having a roof edge, defining the roof opening and protruding in a downward direction and further comprising a stationary part, at least one panel to open and close the roof opening. The panel is movably supported by an operating mechanism, guided in a guide rail of the stationary part, extending along at least a longitudinal side of the roof opening. The panel is movable in vertical and longitudinal directions with respect to the roof opening. The stationary part is provided with a sealing assembly comprising a first seal part capable of sealing the panel towards the fixed roof, and a second seal part capable of sealing the stationary part against an inner part of the fixed roof. The first seal part is slidably adjustable with respect to the second seal part in vertical direction.
Open roof construction for a vehicle
An open roof construction for a vehicle having an opening in the fixed roof includes an operating mechanism for a closure element and comprises a driving slide, slidably guided in the guide rail, a front support attached to the closure element, a support lever having a front end and a rear end and which is slidably connected to a panel track of the closure element by a rear sliding member. The support lever is in engagement with said rear guide track by a middle sliding member. The driving slide is configured to drive the support lever at least along part of path of movement of the closure element. The support lever is constructed such that, in an open position of the closure element, the rear sliding member at the rear end of the support lever extends above the fixed roof behind the roof opening.
