Apparatus and method for adjusting a screen arrangement for a vehicle roof, and vehicle roof for a motor vehicle
An apparatus for adjusting a screen arrangement for a vehicle roof may have a main slider and an adjusting slider which can each be coupled to the screen arrangement and are configured for pivoting the screen arrangement out and in and for adjusting a prescribed alignment angle (A) of the screen arrangement. The apparatus may also have a drive coupling element which couples a drive cable of the main slider and a drive cable of the adjusting slider to one another, such that the main slider and the adjusting slider can be displaced, with respect to a common reference point, at least in certain portions, at different movement speeds, and such that with respect to a longitudinal axis (L) of the apparatus a spacing between the main slider and the adjusting slider and therefore an alignment angle (A) of the screen arrangement can be adjusted in a prescribed manner.
TRANSPARENT ROOF ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE ROOF
A transparent roof assembly for a vehicle roof comprises a panel with a transparent area, a light source arranged to provide light into the panel and an out-coupling pattern arranged on the surface of the transparent area of the panel. The out-coupling pattern comprises dots of a light-redirecting material for out-coupling of light introduced into the panel and propagating in the panel, wherein the dots each have a representative diameter of 150 microns or less, preferably 80 microns or less and wherein a total dot surface area of the dots of the out-coupling pattern is smaller than 10% of a total surface area of the transparent area. Thus, the transparent area appears transparent during daytime looking from an interior of the vehicle to an exterior of the vehicle, while sufficient light is provided into the interior when the light source is switched on.
SUNROOF APPARATUS
A front link shifts, based on power transmitted from a first guide shaft of a front shoe, among a full-close corresponding position that allows a movable panel to be arranged in a full-close position, a front-up corresponding position that allows the movable panel to be arranged in a front-up position, and a full-open corresponding position that allows the movable panel to be arranged in a full-open position. The front shoe check restricts power of the drive shoe from transmitting to the front shoe, when the drive shoe causes a rear link to shift between a collapsed position and a standing position.
DUAL PANEL SUNROOF SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS FOR USE WITH VEHICLES
Dual panel sunroof systems and apparatus for use with vehicles are disclosed. A disclosed sunroof for a vehicle includes a first bracket movable along a rail and coupled to a first panel. The sunroof also includes a second bracket movable along the rail and coupled to a second panel. The sunroof also includes an actuator configured to move the first or second bracket. Movement of the first bracket is to position the first panel over the second panel. Movement of the second bracket is to position the second panel over the first panel. The sunroof also includes a central guide block operatively interposed between the first and second brackets to guide movement thereof. The central guide block configured to apply a resistance to at least a first end of the first bracket to enable the actuator to raise or lower the first panel.
OPEN ROOF ASSEMBLY HAVING A DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR OPERATING A SUNSHADE MEMBER AND A CLOSURE MEMBER SEQUENTIALLY
An open roof assembly comprises a drive assembly having a slider member. The slider member comprising a coupling member, a first lever member coupled to a sunshade member and a second lever member coupled to a closure member. Each lever member comprises a mating member for coupling with the slider member and a locking lever for releasably engaging a respective locking recess. The slider member is sequentially couplable to one of the lever members. When the slider member is coupled to the first lever member, the sunshade member may be opened or closed by moving the slider member. When the slider member is coupled to the second lever member, the closure member may be opened or closed by moving the slider member.

Arrangement and method for producing an arrangement for a vehicle roof and a system for a motor vehicle with a vehicle roof
A method for producing an arrangement for a vehicle roof can have the steps of providing a first element with a first end and a second end, the element being couplable by the first end to the vehicle roof. The method can also have the steps of providing a pumpable substance with predetermined material properties, and applying the provided substance by injection molding at a predetermined position at the second end of the first element and thereby forming a second element such that the second element is coupled to the first element and is pivotable relative to the first element about an axis of rotation (A). An arrangement and system for a vehicle roof is also provided.

Motor vehicle having a vehicle part that can be displaced relative to the vehicle structure
A motor vehicle is provided having a vehicle structure and a vehicle part that can be displaced relative to the vehicle structure with the aid of at least one drive cable that is provided with a plastics injection molded section for joining the drive cable to the vehicle part. A load reduction device may have at least one coupling member which allows a relative movement between the displaceable vehicle part and the drive cable in the case of an acceleration of the vehicle part relative to the vehicle structure and which interacts with a catch device during the relative movement, the catch means absorbing at least part of the kinetic energy resulting from the acceleration.
