A vehicle hard top lift device comprising a receiver bar with a pivot post on its upper surface opposite a receiver hitch, a mast insertable onto said pivot post, a pivot support arm pivotally connected to the top of the mast, and a linear actuator coupled to said mast and said pivot support arm. The hard top lift device further comprises an extension bar insertable and slidable within the end of the pivot support arm and said extension bar connected to a lift frame purposed to be placed inside the rear cargo area of vehicle and up against the interior roof of a hard top. Capture plates and/or capture plate channel located on the top of the pivot support arm will engage the back bottom edge of the hard top to prevent the hard top from sliding off the lift frame. A user will through a vehicle powered electrical power source operate a switch which will cause the linear actuator to remove or install a hard top on to a vehicle with very minimal effort with the raising and lowering action of the linear actuator with the pivot arm and rotational mast on the pivot point for placement of a hard top away from a vehicle or staging for installation of a hard top onto a vehicle.

A vehicle tonneau cover includes a first tonneau cover portion and a second tonneau cover portion positioned opposite the first tonneau cover portion. A connecting structure connects the first cover portion with the second cover portion. A third tonneau cover portion is coupled to the connecting structure so as to be securable in a first position to form a first configuration of the cover, and in a second position to form a second configuration of the cover. In the first configuration, the third cover portion resides between the first and second cover portions. In the second configuration, the third cover portion is spaced apart from the first and second cover portions so as to form a first gap between the third cover portion and the first cover portion and a second gap between the third cover portion and the second cover portion.

The removable seatbelt post further includes a second portion adapted to be received within the pillar receptacle and removably fastened to the pillar in a second configuration.

Since the cover is horizontally traversed, the person manipulating the cover need not lift the cover vertically in order to reconfigure the cover between the expanded and collapsed positions. Women and elderly people who are generally not as strong as men can manipulate the cover.

The lower B-pillar may include an upper end that defines a receptacle that may receive at least 50% of the upper B-pillar when the roof assembly is assembled to the frame assembly.

Twist locks are retractable in upper corner castings to provide an absolutely flat deck to facilitate loading and unloading. Lower corner castings are connected to corner twist locks of a trailer chassis. Cargo is loaded and a rigid three-dimensional lid is lowered onto the flatbed deck. The rigid lid has corner castings that cooperate with twist locks at corners of the new flatbed deck. Lid corner castings are recessed in the lid. The lid seals to the deck to prevent moisture ingress. Corner castings extend slightly downward from the corners of the lid. Two or more short individual lids are secured separately to the new decks. Partial loads are individually covered and protected by the short lids which are seated and sealed to the deck by securing lid corner castings.
