Brake light for truck bed enclosure
An auxiliary third brake light which is installed on a removable or collapsible truck bed enclosure or frame is disclosed. The auxiliary third brake light is preferably not physically secured by adhesive or mechanical fastener to the truck bed, cab or body or any part of the truck. Rather, the parts of the auxiliary third brake light that are mounted to the truck bed cover and contact the truck bed, cab or body is pressed into contact. In this way, when the truck bed cover is collapsed or removed, the user can have full use of the truck bed. The parts of the auxiliary third brake light that contact the truck bed, cab or body are pulled off therefrom. When the truck bed cover is deployed to the erected position or put back on the truck bed, the parts of the third brake light that contact the truck bed, cab or body are properly repositioned back into position.
Soft front cockpit cover
A soft panel top assembly for a vehicle in sealing engagement with a hard top portion of a roof. The soft panel top assembly has a fixed portion attached to the vehicle and a lightweight pivotal portion that folds back to provide the occupant a quick and easy open air effect. Two door rails of the soft panel top assembly are connected to the vehicle. Two side rail linkage assemblies are attached to header, which is secured to a windshield frame when in a closed position, and are connected at pivot points created with a bracket attached to the door rails to allow the pivotal portion to pivot to an open position. The soft panel top assembly includes a rear header that is lightweight and engages with the existing seal of the hard top roof portion to provide a weatherproof seal.
Soft front cockpit cover
A foldable roof assembly having a soft panel top assembly for a vehicle in sealing engagement with a hard top portion of a roof. The soft panel top assembly has a fixed portion attached to the vehicle and a lightweight pivotal portion that folds back to provide the occupant a quick and easy open air effect. Two door rails of the soft panel top assembly are connected to the vehicle. Two side bows are attached to a first bow member, which is secured to a windshield frame when in a closed position, and are connected at a pivot point created with a bracket attached to the door rails to allow the pivotal portion to pivot to an open position. The soft panel top assembly includes a rear header that is a wireframe and engages with seals in the hard top roof portion to provide a weatherproof seal.
external roll cover
The invention discloses an external roll cover for a pickup truck, including a layer of leather and a supporting frame, the layer of leather is connected to the cargo hopper through a supporting frame, the supporting frame includes a front rail assembly, a rear rail assembly and a side rail assembly, the front rail assembly is connected to the rear rail assembly through a side rail assembly, the front rail assembly includes a front rail, a front rail joint and a front rail rubber strip, the front rail is connected with the side rail assembly through a front rail joint, the front rail is connected with a front rail rubber strip, the front rail joints are connected at both ends of the front rail, the front rail rubber strip is stick on the bottom of the front rail. The front rail strip is very long, which can play a good waterproof effect.
ROOF INSULATION MATERIAL FOR VEHICLES AND PRODUCTION METHOD
A roof insulation material used in convertible vehicles with soft top (fabric base, flexible) structure, the roof insulation material including: a bottom layer whose top surface is formed of woven felt coated with foil or thermoplastic polyurethane; a top layer which is formed of woven felt, and which is located on the bottom layer and is connected to the bottom layer; and polyurethane foam which corresponds to the profiles forming the roof structure when the roof structure is opened or closed, when located on the roof of the vehicle along with its side parts and which is located between the bottom layer and the top layer, except for the parts that contact said profiles.
Vehicle Construction Having a Rigid Top Element and a Rear Window That Can Be Opened
A vehicle construction is proposed, having a displaceable top between a closed-top position and a cleared position and that has, in the rear, a top element extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle and being movable and rigid, a rear pillar on each of the two sides in relation a vertical longitudinal center plane of the vehicle as well as a rear window that can be displaced between a closed position, in which it closes a vehicle tail opening, and an open position, in which the tail opening is cleared at least partially. A circumferential sealing system that is in contact with the rear pillars and against the rigid top part in the closed position of the rear window, in relation to the vehicle environment from the inside, is linked to the rear window in a permanent fashion.
CONVERTIBLE SLIDING TOP
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a convertible sliding top assembly for use with a vehicle. The convertible sliding top assembly can create an opening on the top of the vehicle by rotating a plurality of arms and folding over a soft cover. The assembly can be designed and shaped to improve aerodynamics when the vehicle is moving and prevent the buildup of water on the soft cover.
Locking device having a locking hook and a detection device for a locking-hook position
A locking device for a convertible vehicle is proposed, comprising a locking support, a locking hook, which can be shifted in a translational and/or rotational manner so as to be displaced between a release position and a locked position, and a driving mechanism for the locking hook, said driving mechanism comprising a driving element, which is driven by a driving motor and drives the locking hook, as well as a detection device for detecting a position of the driving element. The detection device is a sensor, which continuously detects the position of the driving element with respect to the locking support.
Vehicle roof base frame
A vehicle roof base frame is provided, which can be placed on top of an edge area of a vehicle roof structure delimiting a roof opening, having two longitudinal legs and a transverse leg connecting the two longitudinal legs to each other, the legs being realized as separate parts. A seal is arranged between each of the longitudinal legs and the transverse leg when in an assembly position in which the legs are firmly connected to each other.
Removable convertible top for convertible vehicle
A removable convertible top for a convertible vehicle. The convertible top includes a flexible water-tight canvas provided with longitudinal reinforcements, the ends of which are suitable for resting on the bars of a vehicle; curved rigid side reinforcements, arranged on the opposite sides of the canvas, parallel to the longitudinal reinforcements, and respectively provided with sets of hooks for engaging with complementary coupling structures provided on the vehicle. The canvas and side reinforcements interlock to automatically tension the canvas, when the two sets of hooks interlock with the coupling structures.
