Lifting Guide Mechanism for Sunroof Device
A lifting guide mechanism for a sunroof device that can be reduced in weight, thickness, and cost is provided. A second rear guide pin (27) is provided behind and above a first rear guide pin (26) which can be received in a guide groove (34). A first upper wall (32) is formed with a rear opening part (36) to allow the first rear guide pin (26) to get in and out of the guide groove (34). A first rear lifting guide member (39) is provided on the first upper wall (32) so as to project upward at rear of the rear opening part (36) to guide the second rear guide pin (27) when a movement of a movable panel (11) is switched between sliding and tilting. This eliminates the need for a member for guiding the first rear guide pin (26) in the guide groove (34), and thus, the panel guide rail (14) may have a single-level structure.
Vehicle roof having removable rigid roof panels
A vehicle roof is provided having, according to one embodiment, two lateral longitudinal roof beams that laterally define a roof opening and are connected to each other via a transverse roof beam that has a base support. The transverse roof beam can be selectively secured to and detached from the longitudinal roof beams by a latching device and has a fixing device for at least one rigid roof panel, the fixing device being displaceable between a locked position, in which the at least one rigid roof panel is secured, and a release position, in which the at least one rigid roof panel can be removed from the vehicle roof.
Sliding roof system for a motor vehicle
A sliding roof system including a support frame, a front movable roof part and a rear roof part, wherein the front roof part is shiftable between a closed position, an obliquely erected ventilation position and an open position in which the front roof part is positioned over the rear roof part. The front guide lever has a lower guide joint which is guided in a guide path, which is curved downwards on the front side, of the guide rail arrangement in such a manner that, in the ventilation position of the roof part, the guide slide is held in the guide path in a self-locking manner with respect to shifting of the control slide.
ROOF SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle roof system for comprises a closure panel having a panel support and a stationary guide rail at each longitudinal side of a roof opening for slidably guiding an operating mechanism that operates the closure panel. The operating mechanism comprises a rear device for moving the closure panel rear edge towards a raised position. A front device includes a first lever for moving the closure panel front edge vertically. A driving slide is drivable by a drive member to move the closure panel both in vertical and horizontal directions through the front and rear devices. The first lever is pivotally connected to the panel support only and has a first slide shoe engaging a stationary guide curve of the guide rail, that includes a downwardly and forwardly inclining front portion. The first lever slides and tilts when the shoe travels through the front portion of the stationary guide curve.
Sliding latch mechanism
A structure, for example a vehicle roof, may define an opening receiving one or more removable panels. The removable panels may each include a panel body configured to cover the opening, and a plurality of latches. The latches may each be positioned adjacent a respective edge of the body and configured to translate between different positions. The removable panel may also include an actuator and a plurality of latch links, with each latch link having a first end connected to a corresponding one of the latches, and each latch link having a second end operably linked with the actuator. Rotation of the actuator may drive each of the latches from an open position of the latch to a closed position, while rotation of the actuator in an opposite direction may drive each of the latches from the closed position of the latch to the open position of the latch.
OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle roof construction comprises a roof opening, a panel and an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism comprises a rear assembly having a lever. The lever rotates around a first transverse axis at its first end. The first transverse axis position changes along a first guide. The second end of the lever at a second transverse axis is pivotally attached to a sliding member that engages a panel track. The rear assembly comprises an auxiliary lever that rotates around a third transverse axis at its first end. The position of the third transverse axis changes along a second guide. The second end of the auxiliary lever at a fourth transverse axis is pivotally attached to the sliding member. The auxiliary lever comprises a support which in the open position of the panel engages a counter support for transmitting vertical forces from the panel towards the counter support.
Arrangement having a cover for a vehicle roof
An arrangement having a cover for a vehicle roof which, starting from a closed position for closing a roof opening, is raisable for opening using deployment means in the rear region and is displaceable toward the rear over the vehicle roof to an open position. The deployment means have a sliding member displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in a guide rail by means of a drive. The deployment means have a deployment rod, having a coupling element, the deployment rod displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle by means of the sliding member, which deployment rod in the closed position of the cover coupled to the sliding member. The deployment means have a pocket in relation to the guide rail configured to be stationary and in terms of the shaping is adapted to the coupling element of the deployment rod.
Open roof construction for a vehicle
An open roof construction for a vehicle having an opening in the fixed roof includes an operating mechanism for a closure element and comprises a driving slide, slidably guided in the guide rail, a front support attached to the closure element, a support lever having a front end and a rear end and which is slidably connected to a panel track of the closure element by a rear sliding member. The support lever is in engagement with said rear guide track by a middle sliding member. The driving slide is configured to drive the support lever at least along part of path of movement of the closure element. The support lever is constructed such that, in an open position of the closure element, the rear sliding member at the rear end of the support lever extends above the fixed roof behind the roof opening.
Open roof construction for a vehicle
An open roof construction for a vehicle includes a closure element supported by an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism comprises a driving slide, slidably guided in a guide rail, a front support attached to the closure element and guided by the guide rail, a support member which is slidably connected to the closure element, and a curve part on the stationary part including a guide track having a vertical component and extending rearwardly beyond a rear edge of the roof opening. The guide rail, driving slide, connecting element, support member and curve part on the stationary part are positioned outside the seal between the closure element and the stationary part.
