ILLUMINATED TRIM FITTING
An illuminated trim fitting for a motor vehicle, in particular a trim fitting as a cover fitting of a sealing strip for the window channel of a vehicle door, is intended to provide a high-quality illuminating effect accompanied at the same time by a simple structural design, low manufacturing costs and space-saving attachment. In addition, the trim fitting is to differ as little as possible externally from non-illuminated trim fittings. For this purpose there is provision that a light gap is formed between a profiled strip of the trim fitting and the adjacent vehicle outer skin, through which light gap the light emitted by a lighting structure provided on the rear of the trim fitting can exit to the outside.

VEHICLE BODY SEAL WITH TRIM STRIP
An arrangement having a sealing profile of a vehicle body seal and a trim strip connectable to the sealing profile with the trim strip being pressed against the sealing profile perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the profile. Two connecting projections running parallel to and at a distance from each other in the longitudinal direction of the strip protrude from the trim strip. The sealing profile has groove recesses running in the longitudinal direction of the profile for receiving one connecting projection each. The connecting projections are undercut, as seen counter to the press-on direction, and the groove recesses are undercut in the press-on direction. The undercuts of the groove recesses are formed by rib projections for engagement in one undercut each of the connecting projections. The rib projections are tongues which are elastically bendable by the connecting projections when the trim strip is pressed onto the sealing profile.
CONSTRUCTION FOR SECURING TRIM STRIP TO AUTOMOTIVE DOOR
A door flange 11d is provided with an outer protrusion 21e and an upper step 20e. A trim strip 40 includes: an exterior appearance portion 41; a fit portion 46 in which the outer protrusion 21e is inserted and fits; an engagement plate 43 engaging with the upper step 20e from above; and a lower abutting plate 44 abutting to the lower face of the door flange 11d from below.
WEATHER STRIP FOR AUTOMOBILE
A weather strip for an automobile is provided that prevents formation of an electric circuit caused by an intrusion of snow, water or the like. The weather strip includes an installation base member operatively coupled on a body of an automobile at a periphery edge of an opening corresponding to a door, and a hollow seal member integrally molded with the installation base member. The hollow seal member protrudes to a side of the door at an outer side of the automobile and makes an elastic contact with the door when the door is in a closed position. An entire exposed outer surface of the hollow seal member and an outer surface of the installation base member continued from the hollow seal member are formed sequentially by a non-electric conductive material having the volume resistivity of 10.sup.6 or greater.

VEHICLE DOOR MOLDING STRUCTURE
A vehicle door molding structure includes: a variable molding formed integrally along an upper edge of a vehicle door, where a width of the variable molding varies along a length thereof; and an insert molded part connected to an upper part of the variable molding along a height of a vehicle, where a lower part of the variable molding along the height of the vehicle is attached to the vehicle door with adhesion tape.
CONSTRUCTION FOR SECURING A TRIM STRIP
The present disclosure may reduce the risk of a trim strip coming off a sealing member. A sealing member 30 includes a trim strip securing groove 38 opening toward an outside of a compartment so that a securing leg 47 of a trim strip 45 is inserted into the trim strip securing groove 38. The sealing member 30 is provided with a core 43 including an engagement protruding portion 43d protruding toward the inside of the trim strip securing groove 38. Inserted into the trim strip securing groove 38, the securing leg 47 of the trim strip 45 engages with the engagement protruding portion 43d.
