Method of manufacturing decorative trim
The subject invention includes a fixed window assembly for a vehicle comprising a fixed glass, a trim portion having a polymeric base and a decorative member bonded to the polymeric base. An encapsulation is coupled to the fixed glass and the polymeric base to mount the trim portion in a spaced and adjacent position relative to the fixed glass. A method of manufacturing is also provided using first and second molding apparatuses. Polymeric material is injected into a first mold cavity of the first molding apparatus to form the polymeric base bonded to the decorative member. Polymeric material is injected into a second mold cavity of the second molding apparatus to form the encapsulation coupled to the fixed glass and simultaneously coupled to the polymeric base to mount the trim portion in an adjacent position to the fixed glass.

OUTER DOOR BELT WEATHERSTRIP FOR VEHICLE
Provided is an outer door belt weatherstrip for a vehicle. The outer door belt weatherstrip has a structure in which a door belt rail is coupled to a flange portion of an outer door panel and the outer door belt weatherstrip is fitted to and coupled to an upper end of the door belt rail. Therefore, a height of the outer door belt weatherstrip that is in a coupled state may be reduced, thereby being capable of being contributing to realizing a dynamic appearance of the vehicle.

Below Belt Seal Assembly, Associated Window Sealing System, And Method For Manufacturing Same
A below belt seal assembly for use in a window seal assembly for a vehicle includes an extruded strip of material extending in length between strip ends and having a base and first and second sides extending the base with each side having an engagement area and first and second lips extending outwardly from the engagement areas. A molding is formed about the base and each of the sides and terminates at the engagement areas of the sides such that the molding is spaced from the lips, with the molding forming at least one bracket bonded to the extruded strip. A fastener is attached to the bracket for facilitating mounting of the assembly to the vehicle. The window seal assembly also includes an upper glass run seal assembly comprising additional extruded strips of material and a second molding for bonding the below belt seal assembly to the upper glass run seal assembly.

VEHICLE DOOR
A vehicle door includes a door panel, a corner piece that is disposed at a door waist portion of the door panel and that includes a protrusion, a weather strip that is disposed to extend along an outer peripheral edge of the door panel and that has a hole portion with which the protrusion is engaged, and a door trim that is disposed to cover the corner piece. The protrusion has a hollow structure and includes an outer peripheral side wall, and an opening is provided in a part of the outer peripheral side wall.
Sealing element comprising a cover strip
A sealing element including a cover strip, in particular for sealing a window pane at the inlet of a window channel into which the window pane can be retracted. A portion of the sealing element, which portion is to be produced by injection molding, is connected to the cover strip by being molded onto the cover strip. In a corresponding method, the cover strip is preheated such that its shrinkage is matched to the shrinkage of the molded-on material, until the cover strip has cooled down to approximately the ambient temperature.
