Glass run for automotive door
A decorative member is attached to a side of a glass run outside a passenger compartment without degrading the workability in the attaching the glass run to a window frame, while reducing possible dents. The glass run includes a core, a base member located on the exterior wall of a trim outside the passenger compartment and made from a material with a high flexural modulus, and a decorative member fixed to a side of the base member outside the passenger compartment.
GLASS RUN
A glass run is adapted to seal a space between a door frame and a door glass. A vehicle interior hinge portion is formed at a connection portion between a vehicle interior side wall and a glass run portion bottom wall of a glass run portion, and the vehicle interior side wall is formed to be pivotable around the vehicle interior hinge portion. A vehicle interior side wall retaining lip extending from a vehicle inside to a vehicle outside and in an inner peripheral direction and abutting against a door panel inner peripheral side flange portion of the door frame is formed at a tip of the vehicle interior side wall, and the vehicle interior side wall retaining lip is formed so that a biasing force on the door panel inner peripheral side flange portion increases when the vehicle interior side wall is pivoted toward the vehicle outside.
VEHICLE DOOR SASH STRUCTURE
A vehicle door sash structure includes a holding unit. The holding unit includes a guide locking portion arranged in a region of a run channel opposed in a vehicle inner-outer direction to a tip end rim of an inner beam portion in a state of temporary attachment after completion of attachment of a molding to an outer beam portion. The guide locking portion is inclined in a direction to guide the run channel to a position of completion of attachment while coming into contact with the tip end rim of the inner beam portion by an input of an attachment force in a direction to attach the molding to the run channel in the state of temporary attachment.
AUTOMOBILE DOOR SASH STRUCTURE
The automobile door sash structure includes a mall assembly body including a mall and a run channel which are assembled into a single unit. The run channel includes: an inner wall part which forms the inner wall of a rail part in collaboration with a window frame main body; and a bottom part which forms a bottom portion of the rail part in collaboration with the window frame main body. A total dimension of a dimension of the inner wall part in a frame inside-outside direction and a dimension of the bottom part in a vehicle inside-outside direction is set longer than a dimension of the window frame main body in the frame inside-outside direction.
Run seal for vehicle window and sealing module incorporating means for guiding the window in the seal and an element of the door frame
An elastomer run seal suitable for receiving a sliding window of a motor vehicle side door, and a sealing module comprising the seal, the window and means for guiding the window rigidly connected to the window in order to slidingly guide same in an offset manner in a groove of the seal are disclosed. The seal comprises at least one ascending strand and one top strand, the ascending strand having an outer branch to be mounted in sealing contact with the vertical edge element and the sliding window, an inner branch to be mounted on the frame and a connecting branch, a groove receiving, in a vertically sliding manner, means for guiding the window rigidly connected to the inner face of the same. The groove is formed on the outer branch and is suitable for being positioned facing the vertical element.
Run seal for vehicle window and sealing module incorporating means for guiding the window in the seal and an element of the door frame
An elastomer run seal suitable for receiving a sliding window of a motor vehicle side door, and a sealing module comprising the seal, the window and means for guiding the window rigidly connected to the window in order to slidingly guide same in an offset manner in a groove of the seal are disclosed. The seal comprises at least one ascending strand and one top strand, the ascending strand having an outer branch to be mounted in sealing contact with the vertical edge element and the sliding window, an inner branch to be mounted on the frame and a connecting branch, a groove receiving, in a vertically sliding manner, means for guiding the window rigidly connected to the inner face of the same. The groove is formed on the outer branch and is suitable for being positioned facing the vertical element.

A device for edge sealing of a part or a window pane of a vehicle body, which device has a fastening dement that fastens the sealing device to a body flange and retaining a sealing strand. The fastening element has a main leg, to which a decorative element is fastened, which has a surface visible after installation on the vehicle body, and a connecting leg, which protrudes from the main leg and is provided for holding the sealing strand. The fastening element and the decorative element and/or the sealing strand are formed of plastic or fiber composite material and the fastening element and the decorative element and/or the sealing strand are molded onto each other by injection molding. The fastening element and the decorative element and/or the sealing strand are produced by multi-component injection molding. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a sealing device.
DEVICE FOR THE EDGE SEALING OF A PART OR A WINDOW PANE OF A VEHICLE BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SEALING DEVICE
A device for edge sealing of a part or a window pane of a vehicle body, which device has a fastening dement that fastens the sealing device to a body flange and retaining a sealing strand. A TRIMMING AND SEALING ASSEMBLY FOR AN EDGE OF A WINDOW OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The trimming and sealing assembly (13) is intended to be applied to an upper portion of a frame (9) of a window (4) of a door (2) of a motor vehicle (1), the window (4) having an associated transparent pane (5), movable between a lowered opening position and a raised closing position. Such portion of the frame (9) includes at least one longitudinal support flange (12), with a sheet metal member (10) having an essentially L-shaped cross-section, with an upper wing (10a) forming an angle with respect to said pane (5) and provided with coupling formations (10c) and with a rear lateral wing or flap (10b) turned towards the inside of the motor vehicle (1) and extending downwards.
The trimming and sealing assembly (13) comprises a rigid bearing profile (14), having an essentially L-shaped cross-section, with an upper wing (14a) extending above the upper wing (10a) of said flange (12) and a front lateral wing (14b) turned, in use, towards the environment outside the motor vehicle (1) and facing the rear lateral wing (10b) of said flange (12), such that between the support flange (12) and the bearing profile (14) there is defined a downwardly-open seat (15);
To the front wing (14a) of the bearing profile (14) there is connected an external trimming profile (16).
In said seat (15) there is mounted a sealing strip (21) having an essentially inverted U-shaped cross-section, with first and second lateral branches (21a, 21b), adjacent to the front wing (14b) of the bearing profile (14) and to the rear wing (10b) of the support flange (12), respectively, and provided with respective longitudinal sealing lips (21d, 21e) adapted to contact the opposite surfaces or faces (5a, 5b) of said transparent pane (5) when the latter is in the closed position.
In the bearing profile (14) there being defined an upper longitudinal space (19), adjacent to the seat (15) and wherein said support flange (12) extends.
