Electric machine and method for making electrical contact with a winding of an electric machine
An electric machine comprises a rotor and a stator, wherein the stator comprises a stator body which carries at least one respective winding of at least one phase, wherein the winding of the respective phase or at least one of the windings of the respective phase is conductively connected to a respective contact bridge, which connects the respective winding to an associated power source and/or drain, wherein the respective winding and the contact bridge connected to it each end in a conductor section which extends away from the stator body in the axial direction of the electric machine, these conductor sections being conductively connected to one another, wherein a fixing section of the respective contact bridge is arranged stationary with respect to a housing accommodating the stator by being fixed by an insulation element or directly, on the one hand, to the housing itself and/or, on the other hand, to the power source and/or drain, which, in turn, is fixed to the housing.
Electric haul truck
A zero emissions electrically powered haul truck is disclosed. The haul truck has a 40 metric ton hauling capacity and a form factor that allows the truck to travel through underground mines. The truck also includes a primary battery assembly that is externally mounted along the front and sides of the truck.
Vehicle in-wheel drive motor and a body side drive motor
A vehicle drive device uses in-wheel motors to drive a vehicle and includes in-wheel motors that are provided in wheels of a vehicle and drive the wheels, a body side motor that is provided in a body of the vehicle and drives the wheels, and a controller that controls the in-wheel motors and the body side motor based on requested output power of a driver, in which the controller causes the body side motor to generate a driving force and the in-wheel motors not to generate driving forces when the requested output power of the driver is less than predetermined output power and the controller causes the body side motor and the in-wheel motors to generate driving forces when the requested output power of the driver is equal to or more than the predetermined output power.
Electric Tractor
The electric tractor is equipped with a battery, a transmission unit, a machine body frame, a rear axle unit, and a front axle unit. The transmission unit shifts the input power and outputs the shifted input power. The machine body frame is fixed to the transmission unit. The rear axle unit supports the rear wheels, and transmits, to the rear wheels, the power output from the transmission unit. The front axle unit supports the front wheels. The rear axle unit and the front axle unit support chassis including the machine body frame and transmission unit. The battery is supported by the chassis.
VEHICLE OPERATION WITH INTERCHANGEABLE DRIVE MODULES
Vehicles may be composed of a relatively few number of “modules” that are assembled together during a final assembly process. An example vehicle may include a body module, a first drive module coupled to a first end of the body module, and a second drive module coupled to a second end of the body module. One or both of the drive modules may include a pair of wheels, a battery, an electric drive motor, and/or a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. One or both of the drive modules may also include a crash structure to absorb impacts. If a component of a drive module fails or is damaged, the drive module can be quickly and easily replaced with a new drive module, minimizing vehicle down time.
Stack frame
The disclosure provides a stack frame that is arranged in a front portion of a vehicle and on which a battery stack is mounted. The stack frame includes a body section and a crash box. The body section includes plural members that are welded to each other along a weld line. The weld line between the plural members extends in a front-back direction of the vehicle. The crash box is arranged on a front side of the body section. A lateral wall surface of the crash box is displaced from an extended line of the weld line.
MOTOR GRADER
A motor grader in which a motive power source of an electric motor can appropriately be arranged is provided. The motor grader includes a front frame, a rear frame, and a coupling shaft. The rear frame is arranged in the rear of the front frame. The coupling shaft couples the front frame to the rear frame as being pivotable with respect to the rear frame. The motor grader includes a front wheel rotationally driven to run the motor grader, the electric motor that generates driving force for rotationally driving the front wheel, and a battery in which electric power supplied to the electric motor is stored. The battery is arranged in front of the coupling shaft.
BATTERY HOUSING APPARATUS AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A battery housing apparatus including a housing portion forming a housing space in which a battery is removably housed, a holding portion configured to hold the battery, and an openable cover portion closing the housing space. The housing portion includes a support portion rotatably supporting the holding portion about a rotational axis so that the battery is movable between a housed position and a non-housed position in the housing space.
