ELECTRIC VEHICLE
An electric vehicle includes a seat which is supported on a floor panel via a support member, a battery pack which is disposed behind the seat, and an air intake duct which has an air inlet and through which air taken in from the air inlet is supplied to the battery pack. The air inlet is disposed at a position overlapping the support member as viewed from above, and is located between the floor panel and the support member in an up-down direction.
MODULAR VEHICLE ARCHITECTURE ENABLING RANGE ON DEMAND
A system for modifying the range capability of an electric vehicle includes a vehicle body having a front axle and a rear module secured to the vehicle body. The rear module includes a rear axle and the rear module is detachable from the vehicle body and replaceable with another rear module. The rear modules may include different range extension capabilities. The rear modules may include a battery or a combustion engine that may supplement the standard battery and electric motor of the vehicle. A pair of laterally translatable pins of the rear module may be moveable into and out of engagement with the vehicle body. The rear module may also include vertically extending posts that engage with the vehicle body. The vehicle body may be raised to disengage the posts from the vehicle body.
Battery module
A battery module includes a battery stack, a battery cooling duct, and a gas exhaust duct. Cooling air for the battery stack flows through the battery cooling duct. A gas emitted from the battery stack flows through the gas exhaust duct. A middle portion of the gas exhaust duct is contained and shrunk in the battery cooling duct.
Road vehicle with electric drive and power wiring cooling
A road vehicle with an electric drive comprising: at least one pair of drive wheels; a reversible electric machine, which can be connected to the drive wheels; an electronic power converter, which controls the electric machine; an electric energy storage system, which is connected to the electronic power converter; first power wirings comprising at least two first electric wires, which connect the electric machine to the electronic power converter; and second power wirings comprising at least two second electric wires, which connect the electronic power converter to the storage system; and a cooling system, which is thermally coupled to at least one power wiring in order to remove heat from the power wiring.
USER-SCALABLE POWER UNIT INCLUDING REMOVABLE BATTERY PACKS
A riding lawn mower comprising, a pair of rear drive wheels, a pair of front wheels, a deck positioned between the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear drive wheels, a rotatable cutting blade, and multiple battery packs removably coupled to the riding lawn mower and structured to provide power to the riding lawn mower, each battery pack graspable and removable by a user, wherein the multiple battery packs jointly provide power to the riding lawn mower.
Closed loop feedback control to mitigate lithium plating in electrified vehicle battery
A vehicle having a traction battery with at least one cell includes a controller coupled to the traction battery and programmed to modify traction battery current in response to a difference between a lithium plating parameter target value and a lithium plating parameter actual value to reduce the difference. The lithium plating parameter or indicator may be based on a differential open circuit voltage of a battery cell, or a ratio of differential voltage of the at least one cell as a function of time to cell charging rate of the at least one cell.
Electric or hybrid sport car
An electric or hybrid sport car comprising a battery pack incorporating at least one structural element of the vehicle frame, and wherein said structural element can be removed from the vehicle frame only together with the battery pack.
Electric Work Vehicle
An electric work vehicle includes a battery container provided in a traveling vehicle body and including a guiding unit, and a battery pack removably attached to the battery container and including a guided unit. A pair of rollers are provided in one of the guiding unit and the guided unit, and a pair of engaging portion to be engaged with the rollers are provided in the other of the guiding unit and the guided unit. When the battery pack is loaded or unloaded onto/from the battery container at the loading/unloading position, the rollers engage with the engaging portions, thereby functioning as pivot fulcrums for enabling the battery pack to pivot for loading and unloading.
Electric Work Vehicle and Mower Unit
An electric work vehicle includes: a battery accommodating portion that is provided in the vehicle body and accommodates a battery; a first connector provided on the battery accommodating portion; a second connector provided on the battery; and an operating tool for moving the battery and the second connector, and switching from a pre-attachment orientation in which the second connector opposes the first connector to an attachment orientation in which the second connector is joined to the first connector.
