The upper isolator mount is configured to provide front-to-back vibration isolation of the battery relative to the wall.

Vehicle drive system

In a vehicle drive system using a motor for cruising, the connection node of serially-connected first and second batteries is grounded. The operation of an inverter is controlled so that the motor drive voltage is higher than the output voltage of each of the first and second batteries. A battery unit is configured so that third and fourth batteries each in a form of a cartridge are removably loaded, and the loaded third battery is connected in parallel with the first battery and the loaded fourth battery is connected in parallel with the second battery.

Vehicle battery housing, vehicle battery pack and electric vehicle

A vehicle battery housing which enables an electric vehicle to have an increased battery on-board capacity. The vehicle battery housing is mounted on a vehicle having a ladder frame and includes a first battery accommodating portion arranged in a first space between two side rails constituting the ladder frame and a second battery accommodating portion greater in vehicle-widthwise dimension than the first battery accommodating portion and connected to the first battery accommodating portion to be located in a second space vehicle-heightwise below the first space.

CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

To provide a construction machine capable of preventing damages of batteries placed on a machine-body frame. A construction machine comprises a machine-body frame, a supporting plate installed on the machine-body frame via elastic mounts, and batteries fixed to a topside of the supporting plate. Welding is not performed on the supporting plate.

Body structure for automobiles

The rear frame includes an inclined part that is inclined inward in, a vehicle width direction in going rearward and a horizontal part that extends rearward from a rear end of the inclined part. A rear part of the side sill includes a first enlarged width portion that increases in width inwardly in the vehicle width direction via a bent portion. A front part of the rear frame inclined part includes a second enlarged width portion that increases in width outwardly in the vehicle width direction. A rear end of the first enlarged width portion and a front end of the second enlarged width portion are connected. An inner wall in the vehicle width direction of the first enlarged width portion and an inner wall in the vehicle width direction of the inclined part are linearly continuous in plan view.

Vehicle lower structure

A vehicle lower structure includes: a battery pack having first and second battery units and a battery cover; and a fuel tank that is arranged on a vehicle rear side to be higher than the first and second battery units. At positions under a floor panel, the first and second battery units are arranged on both sides in a vehicle width direction of a propeller shaft. The battery cover has a coupling section that couples first and second battery accommodation sections. The coupling section couples the first and second battery accommodation sections such that a vehicle rear side thereof is higher than the first and second battery accommodation sections, extends in the vehicle width direction at a position above the propeller shaft, and is arranged next to a vehicle front side of the fuel tank.

Support Device for Vehicle Battery Pack and Electric Vehicle

A support device configured to support a battery pack including a first battery accommodating portion arranged in a first space between a pair of side rails constituting a ladder frame of a vehicle, a second battery accommodating portion arranged in a second space below the first space and continuous with the first battery accommodating portion, and batteries accommodated in the first and second battery accommodating portions. The support device includes a frame-side bracket having first brackets extending from each of the side rails outward in a vehicle width direction and downward and a second bracket connecting the first brackets to each other below the battery pack, a battery-side bracket projecting from an end surface on an outer side in the vehicle width direction of the second battery accommodating portion outward in the vehicle width direction, and an elastic coupling portion elastically connecting the frame-side bracket and the battery-side bracket.

Hybrid-Electric Powertrain and Lorry Equipped with Same

A hybrid-electric powertrain includes an internal combustion engine, a transmission, and an electric machine, where the electric machine is connected to the transmission for transmitting torque. The transmission has a transmission housing, within which there is disposed an output-side gear set assembly, and also a transmission housing cover disposed on an output side of the transmission as seen in an axial direction. The electric machine has a stator, a rotor, a rotor shaft connected to the rotor for conjoint rotation, and an electric machine housing. In addition, the electric machine has a connection housing for connecting the electric machine to the transmission housing. The rotor shaft of the electric machine is disposed parallel to a transmission input shaft of the transmission.
