Electric vehicle having a battery in an underfloor arrangement
An electric vehicle (1) has a battery (2) in an underfloor arrangement. The battery (2) is arranged in a battery space (4) that is delimited by body members (5, 6, 7, 8) of a body (3). The battery space (4) also is delimited at a bottom side of the electric vehicle (1) by way of a protective plate (9). The battery (2) has a connection element (10, 11) at least on a side oriented toward one of the body members (7, 8), and the body member (7, 8) has a recess (12, 13) in which the connection element (10, 11) is arranged.
Battery pack and electric vehicle
A battery pack includes a first battery case accommodating a plurality of cells, and a second battery case laminated above the first battery case and accommodating a plurality of cells. The first battery case has a first through-hole on an upper surface. The second battery case has a second through-hole on a bottom surface which communicates with the first through-hole. The battery pack includes a communication port composed of the first through-hole and the second through-hole, a gas discharge valve which is provided only in either the first battery case or the second battery case and opens when internal pressure of the battery pack is higher than a predetermined value, and a temperature sensor provided on a gas flow path connected to the gas discharge valve.
BATTERY PACK AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A battery pack and an electric vehicle are provided. The battery pack includes a cell array and two first reinforcing plates. The cell array includes a number of cells. Each of the cells is defined with a length L, a thickness D, and a height H between the length L and the thickness D. The number of cells are arranged along a thickness direction, and the cells are adhered to each other by a structural adhesive. The two first reinforcing plates are arranged opposite to each other and are respectively adhered to two surfaces of the cell array along the arrangement direction of the cells, and are configured to constrain relative positions between the cells.
Structural Battery With Reduced Sill Height
An electric vehicle includes: a frame with two spaced-apart longitudinal members having an upper transversely oriented wall member that is situated a vertical distance Hu from a bottom plane and a lower transversely oriented wall member that is situated near the bottom plane, and a battery pack with an array of battery cells defining an array top surface, an array bottom surface and an array side surface. A casing top plate contacts the array top surface, a casing bottom plate contacting the array bottom surface and a casing side wall, connected to the top and bottom plates and contacting the array side surface. The casing top plate is situated a vertical distance Hct from the bottom plane that substantially corresponds with the distance Hu. The battery pack includes a longitudinal impact absorption structure.
Structural Battery for an Electric Vehicle
A bottom structure for an electric vehicle including at least a first and second beam-shaped battery modules extending in a length direction. Each module is formed by a number interconnected cells and has two longitudinal sides, two transverse sides and a top side covered by a cover plate. The modules are mutually interconnected along their longitudinal sides via an adhesive.
LATERAL SURFACE MEMBER STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE BODY
A lateral surface member structure (100) of a vehicle body (1) includes a tubular body (110) extending in a front-rear direction of the vehicle body (1) and an impact absorbing member (120) disposed inside the tubular body (110). The impact absorbing member (120) includes a web (121) extending along the front-rear direction and flat in a vehicle width direction, a vehicle outer flange (122) joined to a vehicle outer end portion of the web (121) and extending along the front-rear direction, and a vehicle inner flange (123) joined to a vehicle inner end portion of the web (121) and extending along the front-rear direction. The vehicle outer flange (122) and the vehicle inner flange (123) each include a rib (122R, 123R) disposed so as to sandwich the web (121) from above and below and extending along the front-rear direction.
