STUMP CUTTER TOOTH
A stump cutter tooth with an angled or tapered cutting face, the purpose of the angle or taper being to increase the efficiency of the cutting tooth and lower the forces thereof that get transferred back to a stump cutter machine, the tooth also tapering to a full width required to protect a pocket or a mount from contact with a stump.
Apparatus for reducing plant material
Embodiments of an apparatus for reducing plant material are disclosed. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a frame, a boom coupled to and extending from the frame, a drive assembly at least partially coupled to the boom and having a drive shaft rotatable relative to the boom, a hub interconnected to and rotatable with the drive shaft, a cutting wheel interconnected to and rotatable with the hub, and a shearing device coupled to the boom and having a working surface adjacent the hub. The working surface at least partially defines a shearing feature for shearing material wrapped around the hub as the hub rotates.
Stump grinder
A stump grinding system that includes a vehicle and a stump grinder adapted to engage with the vehicle. The vehicle has a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. The stump grinder includes a chassis operably engaged with the vehicle at one of the first end and the second end. The stump grinder also includes a body operably engaged with the chassis and a grinder wheel operably engaged with the body and partially disposed outside of the body from the vehicle. The stump grinder also includes a drive assembly operably engaged with the grinder wheel and the body. The grinder wheel of the stump grinder is configured to rotate in a plane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
STUMP GRINDER
A stump grinding system that includes a vehicle and a stump grinder adapted to engage with the vehicle. The vehicle has a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. The stump grinder includes a chassis operably engaged with the vehicle at one of the first end and the second end. The stump grinder also includes a body operably engaged with the chassis and a grinder wheel operably engaged with the body and partially disposed outside of the body from the vehicle. The stump grinder also includes a drive assembly operably engaged with the grinder wheel and the body. The grinder wheel of the stump grinder is configured to rotate in a plane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
STUMP GRINDER
A stump grinder for attachment with a vehicle. The stump grinder includes a chassis operably engaged with the vehicle at one of the first end and the second end. The stump grinder also includes a body operably engaged with the chassis. The stump grinder includes a front end positioned proximate to the body, and a rear end positioned proximate to the chassis and opposite to the front end. The stump grinder also includes a grinder wheel operably engaged with the body. The stump grinder also includes a drive assembly operably engaged with the grinder wheel and the body. The stump grinder also includes a push blade assembly operatively engaged with the body, wherein the push blade assembly is independently rotatable on the body between the front end of the body and the rear end of the body.
Optimized stump harvester
There is disclosed a system and methods of use for quickly and efficiently excavating, cross-cutting, splitting, and loading or stockpiling tree stumpage and other tree or organic materials, as well as for performing ground cleanup operations. One embodiment provides a stump harvester for attachment to a distal end of an excavator arm. The stump harvester may include front and back jaw assemblies configured to pivot between open and closed positions. The back jaw assembly may include a knife arm having a cutting blade that extends along a majority of a front side of the knife arm. A centerline plane may bisect a cutting edge of the blade. The front jaw assembly may include a planar-aligned dual anvil configured to sheath the cutting edge of the blade when the front and the back jaw assemblies move into the closed position. Other embodiments are disclosed.
TREE STUMP GRINDER
A tooth assembly for use in a grinding wheel, the tooth assembly comprising a holder for holding at least one tooth within a slot of the grinding wheel, wherein the at least one tooth comprises a tooth body, wherein the at least one tooth is removably attached to the holder by attachment means comprising a recess within the tooth body and a fixing receivable in the recess.
Collection method and collection system
A collection method using a collection system including a lifting device that is configured to wind up an overhead line supported by a support post, a suspension device that is connected to the overhead line and is movable in the air as the lifting device winds the overhead line, and a grip device suspended from the suspension device includes a step of gripping a tree by the grip device at two points, a step of cutting the gripped tree, a step of tilting the cut tree such that a longitudinal direction of the tree is along a horizontal direction, and a step of conveying the tree gripped by the grip device as the lifting device winds the overhead line.
Variable displacement motor control system
A hydraulically powered implement is designed for use in connection with a tractor that has a hydraulic pump that supplies pressurized hydraulic fluid to the implement. The implement includes a variable displacement hydraulic motor, an operative element driven by the hydraulic motor, a speed sensor configured to measure the rotational speed of the operative element and output a speed signal representative of the measured speed, a shift module that adjusts the displacement of the hydraulic motor in response to a shift command signal, and a controller. The controller sends the shift command signal to the shift module in response to speed signal output by the speed sensor.
