Quick battery exchange system for electric vehicles
A system for quickly exchanging batteries, and their payment, in electric vehicles as they are battery powered vehicles (BPV). Includes requirement for all BPV to be constructed similarly for battery undercarriage horizontal slide insertion and removal, with electric and water socket plug-in connections in the undercarriage. Includes requirement that batteries are slab designed to be compatible in dimensions and weight for ease of exchanging batteries in BPV, with larger batteries for SUV's, trucks, busses. Includes, battery exchange multi lane building facilities for BPV to drive in, service personnel or robots to exchange batteries from plug-in charging racks with specially designed battery movement equipment, pay for their use, and BPV to drive away. Requires batteries, facilities, racks, equipment, and all data processing and its computers to be owned by investors, with initial battery, daily, and as-you-go, payments by BPV owners.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAXIMIZING BATTERY LIFE
A fail safe battery pack is disclosed and claimed wherein first and second housings are affixed together. A plurality of battery cells reside within and fixedly engage the first and the second housings. First and second printed circuit boards (PCBs) reside within first and second lattice structures of the first and second housings. A variable bias device resides in the first and/or second lattice structure of the first and second housing and engages the first and/or second PCBs. When the bias of the variable bias device is sufficiently large it overcomes a plurality of fixed mechanically biased devices operating between the PCB and the plurality of battery cells and tending to separate same and causes the PCB to electrically communicate with the plurality of battery cells. When the bias of the variable bias device is sufficiently small, the plurality of fixed mechanically biased devices separates the PCB and the plurality of battery cells rendering the battery cells in an electrically safe condition.
Apparatus and system for providing a secondary power source for an electric vehicle
An apparatus for providing a secondary power source for an electric vehicle and having at least one secondary electrical power storage unit for storing electrical energy for delivery to the electric vehicle as required to replace the primary power source, a power connection assembly to connect the at least one secondary power source to the electric vehicle and a control system to control supply to the electric vehicle.
Electric Work Vehicle and Mower Unit
An electric work vehicle includes: a battery accommodating portion that is provided in the vehicle body and accommodates a battery; a first connector provided on the battery accommodating portion; a second connector provided on the battery; and an operating tool for moving the battery and the second connector, and switching from a pre-attachment orientation in which the second connector opposes the first connector to an attachment orientation in which the second connector is joined to the first connector.
TRAVELING DEVICE
The present invention provides a traveling device including: a framework member of a vehicle body; at least one rail member being supported by the framework member and extending substantially horizontally; a battery supporting member that is mounted to be insertable into the vehicle body and extractable from the vehicle body by the rail member for supporting a battery; and at least one damper member being disposed between the rail member and the battery supporting member, wherein the damper member is attached above or below the rail member.
Electric Work Vehicle
An electric work vehicle includes a carrier provided separately from a vehicle body for mounting/dismounting a battery, a carrier storage section provided in the vehicle body for attaching the carrier to the vehicle body, and an attachment mechanism for attaching/detaching the carrier to/from the carrier storage section.
Battery-driven traveling device
The present invention provides a battery-driven traveling device including: a framework section disposed on at least a bottom part of a vehicle body for ensuring strength of the vehicle body; two slide rails being composed of a left slide rail and a right slide rail and being supported by the framework section and extending substantially horizontally; a battery supporting member that is mounted to be insertable into the vehicle body and extractable from the vehicle body by using the two slide rails; and a plurality of dampers disposed on a path through which vibration of the vehicle body is transmitted from each of the slide rails to the battery supporting member for relaxing the vibration transmitted from the vehicle body to the battery while the device travels, wherein the left slide rail is disposed on left side of the battery supporting member and the right slide rail is disposed on right side of the battery supporting member, and each of the dampers is disposed above or below the left slide rail or the right slide rail.
Serviceable battery pack
Electric vehicle with accessory module
A vehicle includes a chassis, tractive elements coupled to the chassis, an electric motor coupled to the chassis and coupled to the tractive elements such that the electric motor drives the tractive elements to propel the vehicle, an accessory module coupled to the chassis and coupled to an output of the electric motor. The accessory module is configured to receive mechanical energy provided by the electric motor and provide at least one of electrical energy or fluid energy.
