Hydraulic arrangement in connection with a cutting device and a corresponding method
A hydraulic arrangement and method in connection with a cutting device includes a hydraulic input line, a hydraulic motor, a return line from the hydraulic motor, a hydraulic cylinder for pressing the cutting device, a feed line for the hydraulic cylinder, connected in parallel with the hydraulic motor to the input line, and a directional control valve and a pressing line and a lifting line. The hydraulic arrangement further includes a throttle for throttling the flow exiting from the hydraulic motor in the return line, and a pressure valve located between the said pressing line and the pressure side of the throttle, for controlling the hydraulic cylinder on the basis of the speed of rotation of the hydraulic motor.
Method and an arrangement for managing and controlling the lifetime of a tree handling system for a forest machine
A method and arrangement are for managing a tree handling system for a forest machine. The method includes obtaining sensor data that represent a current loading on the tree handling system and determining a key indicator that describes a measured value that is representative of the risk of partial damage based on the current loading. A current partial damage value can be compared with a normative partial damage value for a normative operating state to determine a change that would cause the current partial damage value to return to or approach a level corresponding to the normative partial damage value. The change can be executed by an actuator, which is coupled to a control unit, that limits hydraulic flow to at least one execution means to limit the loading of the tree handling system to a pre-determined maximum loading value.

CUTTING TOOL AND WORK MACHINE
A cutting tool for clearing plant growth. The clearing tool includes a power transmission apparatus. An elongated part is coupled to the transmission to rotate around a longitudinal axis of the elongated part and having at least one thread that rises toward the transmission and the diameter of which decreases from an end of the elongated part coupled to the transmission to the end of the elongated part that is at a distance from the transmission. Guide parts are arranged around the elongated part to extend in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the elongated part. A blade part is arranged at the end of the elongated part coupled to the transmission. The elongated part, which, while targeted in a longitudinal direction toward the plant growth, is arranged to cut the plant growth when being rotated, wherein the threads transport the plant growth toward the blade part guided by the guide parts and cut the plant growth with the blade part.
Marking device and harvesting arrangement
The invention relates to a marking device (10) for applying a marking on an object. The marking device comprises a striking arm (11), which is provided with a striking head (12) at its outer free end, and actuating means (30) for actuating the striking arm (11). The striking arm is movably connected to a base (7) through a link arrangement (30). The striking arm is pivotable about a pivot axis (V1) under the effect of the actuating means and the link arrangement from a resting position to a striking position so as to thereby allow the striking head to hit against an object in order to apply a marking on the object. The link arrangement is arranged to move the pivot axis of the striking arm outwards so that the distance between this pivot axis and the base increases when the striking arm is pivoted from the resting position to the striking position.

METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR MONITORING THE COLLECTION OF PLANT MATERIAL
A method of and arrangement for monitoring the collection of plant material includes the following steps and apparatus for executing these steps, respectively: collecting plant location and attribute data with respect to plant material, before and/or during and/or after harvesting the plant material, providing the plant location and attribute data on a collecting vehicle adapted to collect the harvested plant material, moving the collecting vehicle to the harvested plant material based on the plant location data, collecting the harvested plant material, sensing attribute data of the harvested plant material before and/or during and/or after the collecting, and comparing the sensed attribute data with the plant attribute data and generating an output dependent on the result of the comparison.
