Curved delimbing blade, use of same, corresponding delimbing head and cutting kit
A curved blade for a delimbing head operable to cut branches from a felled tree is disclosed. The curved blade comprises a cutting rim, at least one portion of which comprises a continuous flange defining a continuous cutting edge, as well as at least one row of ribs that are straight and parallel to each other, extending in the direction of at least one face of the cutting rim from the continuous flange. The continuous cutting edge of the blade having these straight parallel ribs reduces the lateral load of the continuous cutting edge during the operation of cutting branches from a felled tree.

A SENSOR MOUNT AND ASSEMBLY FOR A TIMBER-WORKING DEVICE
A sensor mount for use with a timber-working device includes a monolithic structure having a base portion configured to be secured to a frame of a timber-working device, and a sensor mounting portion including a cavity configured to receive a contactless sensor. The cavity has a sensor mounting surface for securing the contactless sensor thereto.
Debarking chain having bent links
A debarking chain having bent links; the bent links being bent either right or left, from end to end at a bend angle of from about 5 to about 90 degrees to provide a flail type debarking chain having protruding edges or corners that increase the efficiency in which bark is removed from logs during debarking operations. Bent link chains include right bent links that are bent to the right proximate the middle of the link, where the weld is preferably located, when the link is viewed from the side with the weld on the far side and left bent links that are bent to the left proximate the middle of the link, where the weld is preferably located, when the link is viewed from the side with the weld on the far side. Disclosed inventions also include a debarking drum having a plurality of debarking chains having at least two bent links, as well as debarking devices having such a debarking drum and methods of making and using the same. The debarking device preferably includes a chipping device and methods of using the same in conjunction with using such bent link debarking chain.

Feed wheel arrangement, timber working head, crane, and timber working machine
This invention concerns a feed wheel arrangement intended to be used in a timber working head for at least one of felling, trimming, bark-peeling and cutting of a tree or tree trunk, comprising a frame to which feed wheels and grip fittings are mounted either fixed or in a manner that allows them to be removed. The feed wheel arrangement comprises a feed wheel with a power transfer arrangement lowered centrally in a jacket of the feed wheel, a motor arranged at a distance from the feed wheel, and a power transfer arrangement for the transfer of rotational force from the motor to the feed wheel, for the feed of the tree or trunk through the timber working head. The invention concerns also a timber working head, a crane and a timber working machine.

Palm tree trimmer system
A remote-operated palm tree trimming system and apparatus, configured to ascend a palm tree safely via treaded tires and trim the tree via at least one saw blade. The tires are disposed in communication with actuators which apply pressure against the trunk of the tree, ensuring that the tires maintain adequate grip to overcome gravity during ascent. A remote control, operated by user on the ground, enables control of the wheels, actuators, and saw blade, facilitating manipulation of the device to effectively trim the tree remotely, ensuring the safety of the operator.
Self-propelled tree trimmer
A device for selectively trimming a tree, the device configured to aerially travel to tree limbs or tree trunks destined for trimming, the device comprising: a transporting assembly configured to aerially transport the device; a tree interface assembly on which is operatively coupled pair(s) of opposing gripping arms disposed to grip the tree therebetween, the tree interface assembly being operatively coupled to the transporting assembly; a transverse rotator comprising a rotational driver configured to rotate the device circumferentially about a tree limb or tree trunk, the transverse rotator being operatively coupled to the tree interface assembly; a cutting assembly comprising at least one cutting mechanism configured to selectively cut a tree limb or tree trunk in multiple planes; wherein the device, once secured to the tree may travel longitudinally along a tree limb or tree trunk to the desired location for trimming.
