Sequential simulated gear ratio calculation and rev-matching in a hybrid electric vehicle
Systems and methods are provided for simulating rev-matching in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). In particular, increased engine response is provided while downshifting during acceleration. The transmission of an HEV may include an electronic control unit that controls the speed of the engine to simulate gears, and increases the speed of the engine responsive to a driver using the gear selector to shift from one of the simulated gears to a lower one of the simulated gears, thereby providing the desired rev-matching experience. The increased engine response can be reflected in a target engine speed that is calculated based on specific gear ratios associated with each of the simulated gears.

CARBON DIOXIDE RECOVERY SYSTEM
A carbon dioxide recovery system that recovers carbon dioxide from a hybrid vehicle traveling in a CO.sub.2 recovery area including a CO.sub.2 recovery road in which a stationary CO.sub.2 recovery device collecting and recovering carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is provided acquires a residual charging capacity of the battery and position information of the hybrid vehicle and guides the hybrid vehicle such that the hybrid vehicle travels on the CO.sub.2 recovery road using a notification device when the residual charging capacity is equal to or less than a predetermined SOC threshold value while the hybrid vehicle is traveling in the CO.sub.2 recovery area.
POWER-SPLIT AXLE DRIVE AND AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE
A power-split axle drive for an agricultural vehicle, including a first additional drive element, a first vehicle axle, a second vehicle axle, and a primary drive element for providing a torque which via a first shaft is able to be transmitted to a primary transmission. The primary transmission is connected to the second vehicle axle, and at least the second vehicle axle via the primary transmission is drivable by the torque of the primary drive element. The power-split axle drive has a power-splitting transmission connected to the second vehicle axle and the primary transmission and via a second shaft is connected to the first vehicle axle. The first additional drive element is able to be connected to the power-splitting transmission, wherein a first switching element is disposed on the second shaft.
Pulse start method for an internal combustion engine of a hybrid vehicle
A hybrid drive device has an internal combustion engine, a clutch transmission which has at least one free partial transmission and a partial transmission connected to an electric machine with in each case a clutch, and at least one electric machine. In order to start the internal combustion engine, pulse energy is provided from an inertia of the clutch associated with the free partial transmission and/or a rotation in the free partial transmission.
Systems and methods to mitigate gasoline particulate filter pressure sensor degradation
Methods and systems are provided for regenerating a particulate filter positioned in an exhaust system of an engine of a vehicle. In one example, a method comprises obtaining a first air flow in an intake of the engine and obtaining a second air flow in the intake of the engine, where regeneration of the particulate filter is conducted in response to the first air flow differing from the second air flow by at least a threshold amount, where the first air flow and the second air flow comprise air flow routed from the exhaust system to the intake of the engine. In this way, the particulate filter may be regenerated under conditions where a loading state of the particulate filter is not known.
Switchable powertrain
A switchable powertrain comprises at least four points of freedom. The switchable powertrain comprises a main gear set configured for gear ratio selection, the main gear set comprising main gears coupled to a main shaft and second gears coupled to a second shaft. An adapter comprises a first selective coupling configured to selectively couple to the main shaft, and a second selective coupling configured to selectively couple to the second shaft. A first torque source and a clutch are configured for selectively coupling or decoupling first torque to the main shaft. A second torque source is configured for selectively outputting second torque to the first selective coupling or to the second selective coupling.
Clutch device comprising a fastening unit, which has a clamping element between a torsional vibration damper and a disconnect clutch
A clutch device for a drive train of a motor vehicle includes a torsional vibration damper with an output side, a disconnect clutch with a clutch component, and a fastening unit releasably connecting the disconnect clutch to the torsional vibration damper. The fastening unit includes a first toothing region fixed on the clutch component, a second toothing region fixed on the output side and positively rotationally connected with the first toothing region, and a clamping element. The clamping element is arranged to preload the first toothing region relative to the second toothing region in a circumferential direction with a preloading force, and preload the output side relative to the clutch component with an axial contact pressure.
