APPARATUS FOR DRIVING REAR-WHEELS OF ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY VEHICLE
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for driving rear-wheels of an environment-friendly vehicle. The apparatus for driving rear-wheels may include: a rear-wheel driver including a first motor and a second motor configured to respectively drive first and second rear wheels; a rear-wheel reducer configured to decelerate drive forces of the first and second motors and transmit the respective decelerated drive forces to the first and second rear wheels; a brake configured to releasably fix the rear-wheel reducer to a vehicle body; and a controller configured to control the rear-wheel driver, the rear-wheel reducer, and the brake. The rear-wheel reducer may include: a first planetary gear set disposed between an output end of the first motor and the first rear wheel; a second planetary gear set disposed between an output end of the second motor and the second rear wheel; and a ring gear coupled to the first and second planetary gear sets.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A DIFFERENTIAL DISCONNECT ELECTRIC AXLE
Methods and systems are provided for selectively engaging an electric machine to an electric axle of a vehicle. In one example, a method may include engaging or disengaging the electric machine to a differential of the electric-axle by adjusting pressure in a piston coupled to an axle shaft of the electric-axle via a disconnect clutch.

CONTROL APPARATUS FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A control apparatus for a hybrid electric vehicle that includes (i) an engine, (ii) a first electric motor, (iii) a second electric motor, (iv) first wheels, (v) second wheels and (vi) an engagement device disposed between the engine/first electric motor and the first wheels. The engagement device establishes and cuts off transmission of a power of the engine/first electric motor to the first wheels, by connecting and disconnecting between an input rotary member and an output rotary member. During running of the vehicle in a running mode in which the engagement device is released and the vehicle is caused to run by a power of the second electric motor, it is determined whether the engagement device is being released or not, based on (a) a rotational speed difference between the input and output rotary members and (b) a rotational state of the engine or the first electric motor.

Method for controlling electrically driven four-wheel-drive vehicle, and device for controlling electrically driven four-wheel-drive vehicle
A control method controls an electric four-wheel-drive vehicle to switch a drive torque distribution between a first distribution prioritizing energy efficiency and a second distribution prioritizing driving performance. The distribution is set to the second distribution where wheel slip is detected during a trip, and returned to the first distribution once the vehicle has stopped. When wheel slip is detected at least during acceleration, the distribution is switched from the first distribution to the second distribution. When wheel slip is detected during deceleration, a slip experience flag is set. The slip experience flag is maintained at least until starting off in a subsequent trip. Where the slip experience flag has been set, the distribution is maintained as the second distribution when the vehicle has stopped, and where the slip experience flag has not been set, the distribution is returned to the first distribution upon the vehicle being stopped.
Vehicle control apparatus
A vehicle control apparatus includes a planetary gear mechanism, first and second wheels, an engine, a motor generator, a wheel drive clutch, and a control system. The planetary gear mechanism includes first, second, and third rotation elements. The first wheel is coupled to the first rotation element via a first path. The second wheel is coupled to the second rotation element via a second path. The engine is coupled to the third rotation element via a third path. The motor generator is provided on the first path. The wheel drive clutch is provided on the first path and between the motor generator and the first wheel. The control system controls the motor generator and the wheel drive clutch. The control system executes a motor stop mode in which the wheel drive clutch is brought into a released state and the motor generator is brought into a rotation stop state.
