STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle, including a frame structure, a rear arm, a driving wheel rotatably supported by the rear arm, a power source unit, and a drive unit including a gear box, a drive motor and a control unit. The drive motor is arranged with an off-set toward a first direction from a center of the straddled vehicle, without overlapping the power source unit in a side view. The control unit is further in a second direction than the drive motor, and overlaps the drive motor, but does not overlap the power source unit, in the side view. The gear box is further in the second direction than the drive motor, and overlaps the drive motor in the side view. The gear box is also further in the first direction than the control unit, and overlaps with the control unit, but does not overlap the power source unit, in the side view.
SERIES HYBRID TYPE STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle including a frame structure having a frame body, a rear arm swingably supported by the frame structure, a driving wheel rotatably supported by the rear arm, a drive motor supported by the frame structure or the rear arm, and an electric power generation unit supported by the frame body but not by the rear arm. The electric power generation unit includes: an electric power generation engine arranged with an offset toward a first direction from a center of the straddled vehicle with respect to a left-right direction, not overlapping the drive motor in a side view; and an electric power generator further in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, than the electric power generation engine, overlapping the electric power generation engine, but not overlapping the drive motor, in the side view. The electric power generator is driven by the electric power generation engine to generate electric power.
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
A transmission system suitable for operation with a drive machine includes an input shaft for a drive power, at least one output shaft for outputting drive power, a power-split transmission section having at least one variable transmission branch and a mechanical transmission branch, a manual transmission, a transmission system controller, and at least one first and second electric machine for generator and motor operation. The electric machines are electrically connected to one another. The drive power is divided up and conducted by the mechanical and variable transmission branch. An input-coupled, magnetically electric epicyclic gear stage brings together the variable transmission branch and mechanical transmission branch, and is activated by the second electric machine such that the output shaft of the transmission system rotates counter to a direction of rotation at the input shaft to provide a forward and reverse operation of the transmission system.

A transmission system suitable for operation with a drive machine includes an input shaft for a drive power, at least one output shaft for outputting drive power, a power-split transmission section having at least one variable transmission branch and a mechanical transmission branch, a manual transmission, a transmission system controller, and at least one first and second electric machine for generator and motor operation. The electric machines are electrically connected to one another. The drive power is divided up and conducted by the mechanical and variable transmission branch. An input-coupled, magnetically electric epicyclic gear stage brings together the variable transmission branch and mechanical transmission branch, and is activated by the second electric machine such that the output shaft of the transmission system rotates counter to a direction of rotation at the input shaft to provide a forward and reverse operation of the transmission system.
Vehicle
Provided is a vehicle that can improve vehicle posture control or operation performance during accelerating turn. A vehicle is provided with: a left drive wheel and a right drive wheel connected to a motor; a required drive power amount input device for inputting a required drive power amount; and a required turn amount input device for inputting a required turn amount. The vehicle further includes a turn control device that adjusts a power difference between the left drive wheel and the right drive wheel on the basis of a time derivative value of the required drive power amount in addition to the required turn amount.
Vehicle
Provided is a vehicle that can improve vehicle posture control or operation performance during accelerating turn. Method for controlling a drive train of a hybrid vehicle
A method for controlling a drive train of a hybrid vehicle which includes an internal combustion engine, an electric machine that is operated as a motor or generator, and a transmission. Energy is recovered in the overrun operation of the vehicle by operating the electric machine in generator mode. The transmission has at least one free-wheel-connected low forward gear that only transmits traction torque, and at least one free-wheel-free high forward gear. When the free-wheel-connected low forward gear is engaged and the vehicle transitions into the overrun operation, or the driver requests a transition into the overrun operation by selecting the free-wheel-connected low forward gear, an overrun torque is set via the free-wheel-free high forward gear by a generator operation of the electric machine for energy recovery. The overrun torque thereby substantially corresponds to an overrun torque of a free-wheel-free configuration of the free-wheel-connected low forward gear.
Method for operating a PHEV and motor vehicle configured therefor
A method for operating a motor vehicle having a hybrid drive, and to a motor vehicle configured for carrying out the method. In a hybrid operating mode of the motor vehicle, a proportion of a purely electric driving operation is maximized by controlling the automatic transmission so a resulting rotational speed is not lower than a preset minimum value.
