Syncing operational data for heavy equipment
Communications between heavy equipment machines during tree felling operations. A method includes identifying a tree felling area to be cut in a tree felling operation and determining instructions for executing the tree felling operation with two or more heavy equipment machinery. The method includes receiving first sensor data from a first heavy equipment during execution of the tree felling operation and providing the first sensor data to a second heavy equipment during execution of the tree felling operation.
Tree felling wedge giving tree felling alert
A tree felling wedge (100) comprising at least one pressure sensor (110), an alert interface (130) and a controller (120) is provided. The controller (120) is configured to activate said tree felling wedge (100) in a tree felling monitoring mode, detect a pressure level, detect a release in said pressure level (R) indicating the falling of a tree and in response thereto provide an alert through said alert interface (130).

Post-extracting tool
The post-extracting tool is a pair of tongs adapted to remove posts, small trees, and bushes from the ground. Each arm of the tongs comprise a lever, a jaw and a loop. Each jaw has teeth that can bite into the object being removed. The arms of the tongs pivot at a pivot point. The post-extracting tool can be position near the object being removed with a set of teeth on either side of the object. A vehicle can be used to pull on the loops, simultaneously pulling the arms together so that the teeth bite into the object and pulling the tool and the object away.
FORESTRY MACHINERY OPERATION METHOD AND OPERATION PROCESSOR PERFORMING METHOD
A method for operating forestry machinery includes providing timber units with forestry machines and an operation processor. The method also includes detecting or receiving data from an information source, where the data includes worksite preparation data, navigation data, or worksite situation data. The data is processed by the operation processor and operation parameters of the forestry machine are set based on the processing of the data. The method further includes communicating instructions to the forestry machine by the operation processor, where the instructions include the operation parameters.

METHOD OF FELLING A TREE
A power wedge device includes a base, a screw-type cone wedge mounted to the base and including a threaded cone portion that tapers to a pointed tip. A motor is mounted to the base and coupled to the screw-type cone wedge to rotatably drive the threaded cone portion. A counter-rotational member is coupled to the base and is configured to ground the screw-type cone wedge so as to prevent the screw-type cone wedge from spinning the motor and the base.
