ELECTRIC DRIVE AXLE SYSTEM AND OPERATING METHOD
Methods and systems for an electric drive assembly are provided herein. In one example, an electric drive system is provided that includes two multi-motor drive units with associated planetary gear reductions that have asymmetric gear ratios. The planetary gear reduction in each drive unit includes a ring gear and a sun gear that are rotationally coupled to a pair of motors and a carrier rotationally coupled to an output gear that interfaces with a gear reduction of an axle assembly.
Hub motor arrangement or vehicle with hub motor arrangement
A ride-on vehicle, such as for a child, includes a vehicle body and one or more wheels that support the vehicle body relative to a surface. At least one of the wheels includes a hub motor arrangement that provides a drive torque for propelling the vehicle. The hub motor arrangement includes a housing defining an interior space. An axle or other mounting element(s) define an axis of rotation of the housing. Preferably, the axle or other mounting element(s) do not pass completely through the housing. A motor drives the housing through a transmission. Preferably, the motor is a standard, compact motor that is positioned on the axis of rotation and can be laterally offset from a central plane of the housing. In some embodiments, a traction element is carried directly by the housing.

A vehicle includes a frame, a first support member including a first end, a second end and an intermediate portion supporting a first axle receiver, a first bellows mounted to the first end of the first support member, a second bellows mounted to the second end of the first support member, a second support member including a first end portion, a second end portion and an intermediate section supporting a second axle receiver, a third bellows mounted to the first end portion of the second support member, a fourth bellows mounted to the second end portion of the second support member, a first drive unit including a first transmission mounted to the first support member, and a first electric motor connected to the first transmission, and a second drive unit including a second transmission mounted to the second support member, and a second electric motor connected to the second transmission.

A wheel head transmission (1) comprising a first and second shafts (W1, W2) which are connected to one another via a planetary transmission (PG). The wheel head transmission (1) comprises first and second planetary stages (P1, P2), which include a first element (E11, E12), a second element (E21, E22) and a third element (E31, E32). The first element (E11) of the first planetary stage (P1) is connected to the first shaft (W1) for conjoint rotation, the second element (E21) of the first planetary stage (P1) and the third element (E32) of the second planetary stage (P2) are connected to one another and the second shaft (W2) for conjoint rotation. The third element (E31) of the first planetary stage (P1) and the first element (E12) of the second planetary stage (P2) are connected together for conjoint rotation, and the second element (E22) of the second planet stage (P2) is immobilized.
Vehicular gear system friction reduction
An automotive axle includes a housing including gears and a bath lubricating the gears, the bath including gear oil and about 0.1 to 5 wt. % secondary alcohol ethoxylate based on total weight of the bath such that during automotive operation at temperatures less than a threshold, reverse micelles form to trap air bubbles in the bath, emulsifying the bath, and at temperatures greater than the threshold, the reverse micelles dissipate.
Transmission and drive device for an at least partially electrically driven vehicle
A transmission for an at least partially electrically driven vehicle includes two electric machines which are rotationally driveable in a first direction and in a second direction. The transmission further includes an output shaft at least indirectly operatively connected to the first and second electric machines, a first freewheel clutch that at least indirectly transmits a drive power of the first electric machine to the output shaft with a first ratio when the first electric machine rotates in the first direction, and a second freewheel clutch that at least indirectly transmits the drive power of the first electric machine to the output shaft with a second ratio when the first electric machine rotates in the second direction. Additionally, the transmission includes at least one first gear stage in power flow between the first or second freewheel clutch and the output shaft to rotate the output shaft in a third direction.
DUAL-ROTOR IN-WHEEL MOTOR BASED ON AXIAL MAGNETIC FIELD AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A dual-rotor in-wheel motor based on an axial magnetic field and a control method thereof are provided. The dual-rotor in-wheel motor includes an axle and a hub. The axle is fixedly connected to a frame. The hub relatively rotates around the axle. A disc-shaped intermediate stator is fixedly connected on the axle. A left coil assembly and a right coil assembly are fixedly mounted on two sides of the intermediate stator, respectively. A left rotor and a right rotor are respectively arranged on the two sides of the intermediate stator. The left coil assembly drives the left rotor to rotate, and the right coil assembly drives the right rotor to rotate. A left clutch is arranged between the left rotor and the hub, and a right clutch and a speed reduction mechanism are arranged between the right rotor and the hub.

An electric vehicle transmission (7) includes an input shaft (10), an output shaft (11), a first planetary gear set (P1), a second planetary gear set (P2), and a third planetary gear set (P3). The input shaft (10) is provided for coupling to an electric machine (6). A first shift element (A), a second shift element (B), and a third shift element (C) are provided at least functionally as well. Also disclosed is a drive system (4), a vehicle drive train (5), and an electric vehicle.
GEARBOX, DRIVETRAIN, AND VEHICLE WITH GEARBOX
A gearbox includes: an input shaft; a first output shaft; a second output shaft; a first planetary gearset; and a second planetary gearset connected to the first planetary gearset. The input shaft, the first and second output shafts, and the first and second planetary gearsets are configured such that a torque introduced via the input shaft is converted and distributed in a defined ratio to the first and second output shafts, so as to prevent formation of a sum torque. The first planetary gearset is configured as a minus planetary gearset, and the second planetary gearset is configured as a plus planetary gearset.
