A virtual image display device includes: a display unit that generates an image display light by modulating an illumination light; and a projection optical system that includes a concave mirror for reflecting the image display light toward a virtual image presentation plate and a convex lens provided between the display unit and the concave mirror. The display unit is provided at a position closer to the convex lens than a focal point, within a meridional plane, of a composite optical system formed by the virtual image presentation plate and the projection optical system.

Display control apparatus and method

The invention relates to a display control apparatus (1) for dynamically controlling the display of information in a vehicle (3). The display control apparatus (1) comprises a controller (12) having at least one electronic processor (13). The at least one electronic processor (13) is configured to control first and second displays (4, 5). In dependence on a determined gaze direction of the vehicle driver, the at least one electronic processor (13) controls a switching module (16) to cause a first information data set (INF1) displayed on said first display (4) to be displayed on said second display (5). The present invention also relates to a method of controlling the display of information in a vehicle (3). One aim is to shift the driver's view back to the road.

Projection display device for vehicle

The systems and methods disclosed herein are directed to a vehicle proximity system. The vehicle proximity system uses sensors, a vehicle computing device, and a heads-up display of a host vehicle to present proximity graphic elements to a vehicle occupant, such as the driver of the host vehicle. The proximity graphic elements are displayed using a heads-up display and are projected on a transparent surface of the host vehicle, such as the windows, windshield, display screen, lenses, etc. The proximity graphic elements indicate the presence of a proximal vehicle to the host vehicle. In some embodiments, the proximal vehicle is a vehicle passing the host vehicle. Alternatively, the proximal vehicle may be inline with the host vehicle traveling in a forward or rearward direction.

In-vehicle display control device

An in-vehicle display control device includes: an image acquisition unit that acquires a plurality of element images to be displayed on a vehicular display from each image generation unit; a change information acquisition unit that acquires color change information; and an image synthesizing unit that generates a synthetic image based on a color in the color change information and the plurality of element images. The image synthesizing unit generates the synthetic image by synthesizing the plurality of element images and a color change layer.

Gesture input device

An input device includes: a movement detector that detects a user movement; and an image projector that forms a zone image in a space to present a region where the movement detector detects movement; and the image projector includes a first light source; and a first light guide plate which includes a light emitting surface and directs light entering from the first light source so that the light exits from the light emitting surface and forms an image in a space.

BATTERY TEMPERATURE DISPLAY DEVICE OF VEHICLE

A battery temperature display device of a vehicle is provided. The battery temperature display device includes: a plurality of display elements sequentially arranged according to values of a display temperature so as to respectively display each of a plurality of temperature ranges into which a predetermined total temperature display range of the secondary battery is divided, wherein the display elements include a highest temperature display element and a lowest temperature display element respectively display temperature ranges of a highest temperature and a lowest temperature in which discharge and charge of the secondary battery are restricted in the total temperature display range; and a display control part for changing boundaries between the highest temperature display element, the lowest temperature display element and other display elements or thresholds related to divisions of the display temperature in accordance with an operation state of the vehicle or a use state of the secondary battery.
