The dial gauge face has a top and a bottom and structured behind the transparent cover the dial gauge face having a first slot and a second slot, the slot. The first antenna has a portion coupled with the first slot of the dial gauge face and a portion along a bottom of the dial gauge face. The second antenna has a portion coupled with the second slot of the dial gauge face and a portion along a bottom of the dial gauge face. The motor assembly coupled with the dial gauge face. The printed circuit has a microcontroller, a Bluetooth circuit and a global positioning system (GPS) circuit. The microcontroller coupled to drive the motor assembly. The Bluetooth circuit coupled with the first antenna and the GPS circuit coupled with the second antenna. The battery is coupled with the printed circuit board to provide power to the printed circuit board.

Different scales (11) are provided for different purposes, and are changeable without altering the instant position of the indicator (12). The display (10) may indicate the state of charge of a battery of the hybrid electric vehicle having an internal combustion engine and motor/generator, different scales (11) having maxima (15) corresponding to different nominal or optimum states of charge.

A motorcycle includes an analog display unit, a liquid crystal display unit, a meter circuit board, a communication unit, a housing, and a meter harness. The analog display unit has a dial plate and a pointer. The liquid crystal display unit is a display for displaying vehicle information. The meter circuit board electronically controls contents displayed on the liquid crystal display unit. The communication unit performs the wireless communication with an external communication terminal. The meter circuit board and the communication unit are disposed within the housing. The meter harness supplies the power with at least the analog display unit, the liquid crystal display unit, the meter circuit board, and the communication unit, and they have a common power conduction path at the outside of the housing.

A light ring assembly that is designed to provide bright, uniform and homogenized illumination and that can be used with any number of vehicle and non-vehicle lighting applications. According to one embodiment, the light ring assembly includes a housing, a circuit board with a number of individual light sources, a light ring and a lens. Light emitted by the light sources enters an optical input surface on a bottom side of the light ring, is reflected within the body of the light ring so as to mix and become more distributed, and then exits an optical output surface on a top side of the light ring.

A basic console user interface includes an indication that the computer system is attempting to connect to one or more external devices. When the connection is successfully established before a first threshold duration of time is reached, the display is updated with an enhanced console user interface.
