A vehicular display device is used in a vehicle and displays an image received from a drawing device. The vehicular display device includes an image display unit, a notification unit, an image notification determination unit, a drawing request unit, a correspondence identification unit, and a notification execution unit. The image display unit executes notification by displaying the image. The notification unit executes notification by at least one of audio and light. The image notification determination unit determines whether the vehicle is in an image notification state. The drawing request unit requests the drawing device to draw the image corresponding to the image notification state. The correspondence identification unit identifies the correspondence notification action. The notification execution unit causes the notification unit to execute the correspondence notification action.

Designed system is a software and hardware system to be used as a vehicle dashboard. The system is connected to the vehicle to read the vehicle data. The system has a monitor to render the vehicle data. The system replaces vehicle's instrument cluster installing a monitor facing driver. The system allows user to change appearance of data on it by configuring widgets. User can define a widget data, layout, scripts and custom media using all possible data taken from the vehicle. The media could be user's custom pictures, sound recordings, video, etc. The system makes instrument cluster (aka combination meter) highly customizable. User can make their own appearance and look for the vehicle's data by selecting the vehicle data, widget, layout scripts and media to show it on vehicle instrument cluster platform.

ROTATABLE DISPLAY

An instrument panel has an aperture in which a display may be arranged. The instrument panel further comprises a rotatable display mechanism. The mechanism comprising at least three display surfaces supported on a rotatable support. A first display surface comprises a touch sensitive display screen; a second display surface comprises at least one dial or gauge; and a third display surface comprises a trim element. The support is mounted for rotation with respect to a mount and the mount is movable away from and towards the aperture in the instrument panel. In use each display surface may be arranged in the aperture. To change from one display surface to another display surface, the mount is moved away from the instrument panel, the support is rotated and the mount is then moved back towards the instrument panel so as to align another display surface in the aperture.

DISPLAY FOR A VEHICLE INCLUDING A HOLOGRAM

A vehicle may include a display for producing a hologram. The display may include a backlight unit for showing visual content. The display may include an instrument cluster. The instrument cluster may include one or more gauges, such as one or more graphical gauges, analog gauges, or hybrid gauges. The visual content may be in addition to and separate from the hologram. The display may include an illumination frame positioned in front of the backlight unit. The illumination frame may include one or more light elements. The display may include a holographic layer positioned in front of the backlight unit. The holographic layer may include a plurality of holographic layers. The one or more light elements may be configured to emit light through the holographic layer to produce the hologram.

The display gauge comprises a display unit and a control unit, the display unit having a stationary warning zone, the control unit being connectable with different types of sensors to receive sensor signals, wherein the display gauge further comprises a coded selector that can be operated by a user, the selector being electrically connected to the control unit to transmit to the control unit a signal indicative of a type of a current sensor signal selected by the user, and the control unit controls display of the display unit according to a value of the current sensor signal, so that a state in which the value of the current sensor signal reaches a warning value range can be displayed through the warning zone regardless of the type of the sensor. The present invention allows to display multiple types of sensor signals by a single display gauge, and to exhibit different functions or sensor signal types with different symbols or icons.
