DASHBOARD CONTROL SYSTEM
A dashboard control system of a vehicle includes: one or more sensors positioned in the vehicle for generating sensor outputs; one or more control inputs located on at least one of the vehicle and a user device communicatively coupled to the vehicle; and a dashboard assembly positioned in the vehicle facing a rider of the vehicle, the dashboard assembly including at least one visor unit coupled with a rotatable display unit with at least one display face. The rotatable display unit includes at least one drive unit and at least one controller for controlling operation of at least one of the at least one visor unit and the rotatable display unit, based on the sensor outputs and the one or more control inputs.
Display systems and methods for a recreational vehicle
The present application discloses systems and methods to present information to recreational vehicle riders and to provide customizable visual information to recreational vehicle riders. The present application further discloses systems and methods to connect and transmit audio information between a driver portable communication device and a driver audio interface device through the recreational vehicle and audio information between a passenger portable communication device and a passenger audio interface device.
Vehicle display system
A vehicle display system includes: an operation switch configured to be provided in a vehicle and to distinguish and detect a touch and an operation of an operator; a display device configured to be provided at a position at which the operator can visually recognize the display device; and a control device configured to display, on the display device, information regarding a function to be executed when an operation with respect to the operation switch is detected when the touch of the operation switch is detected.
COLOR CHANGING NEEDLE FOR VEHICLE GAUGE
Disclosed embodiments provide a programmable gauge suited for vehicular applications. A multicolored lighting element illuminates a gauge needle in response to an input value. Thus, the needle can be a first color under certain conditions, and then transition to a second color under different conditions. In embodiments, the programmable gauge can serve as a tachometer, speedometer, fuel level gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, altimeter, and/or other gauge types.
DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A display system for a vehicle to display vehicle information includes a meter panel, a heads-up display system, and a controller. The meter panel has at least one display section and the heads-up display system includes a projector mounted on the meter panel and arranged at a front of the meter panel opposite to the at least one display section. The projector is configured to project a light to display the vehicle information on the front windshield. The heads-up display system also includes a curve mirror arranged spaced apart from the projector and is adapted to reflect and focus the light on the front windshield to display the vehicle information on the front windshield. The controller is configured to control the meter panel and heads-up display system to display the vehicle information on the meter panel and the front windshield.
Combination display instrument
The disclosure relates to a combination indicating instrument, and has as its object to devise a hybrid combination display instrument for displaying information in a motor vehicle in a manner so as to provide a homogeneous and smooth transition between an analog display region and a digital display region within the hybrid combination display instrument. Also included for guiding the light generated by the light source, is a light guiding device, which has a first surface facing away from the viewer (viewing individual), and a second surface facing toward the viewer.
Information display system and method
A trip gauge for a vehicle information display may convey vehicle trip information and vehicle range information graphically to assist drivers in qualitatively visualizing and determining whether they can successfully make it to their destination before an on-board energy source is depleted. The trip gauge may include indicators corresponding to the relative locations of the vehicle, the destination, and a projected zero charge location associated with the vehicle's range or distance to empty value. Moreover, the positions of the indicators relative to one another may indicate whether the excess energy is available for the vehicle to reach the destination or whether the energy available is insufficient. Accordingly, drivers may be either reassured that they are expected to reach their destination successfully or warned if they are not so the drivers can modify their driving behavior or change their destination.
Projected display in control dial
A display assembly including a first display surface in a first plane and a second display surface in a second plane. The second plane overlaps and is vertically offset from the first plane. A control device is mounted over the first display surface and includes the second display surface. The display assembly is configured to simultaneously project images onto both the first display surface and the second display surface.
Display device employing a virtual plane overlaying mechanical indicia
Display device is disclosed herein, and may be implementable in a variety of contexts, including a motor vehicle (for example, the instrument cluster). A semi-transparent plane is essentially placed in between a display and a mechanical element member. This allows a virtual projection of information over the mechanical plane in an on-state, while the mechanical element shows non-indicia during the off state.
Method and apparatus for estimating battery life
A method and apparatus for estimating battery life are provided. A method of estimating battery life may involve estimating first status information of a battery based on battery information acquired from the battery, estimating second status information of the battery using a partial cycle model corresponding to a battery degradation pattern for a partial cycle, and calculating the battery life based on a comparison between the first status information and the second status information.
