Vehicle display device
A vehicle display device includes: a display; a vehicle information image generator; an external image obtaining device; a display controller that displays the vehicle information image and the external image on the display; and an external image display determination device that determines whether the display controller is going to display the not displayed external image. When the display controller is going to display the not displayed external image, the display controller displays the external image, which the display controller is going to display, on the display with gradually increasing brightness of the external image from the brightness that is lower by a predetermined amount than original brightness to predetermined brightness that is determined based on the original brightness.
Display device for vehicle
A display system is a display system which is installed in a vehicle and includes a liquid crystal display unit which outputs information representing a deviation amount of the current running speed of the vehicle from a speed limit set for an area where the vehicle is currently running.
Display of a meter during an upshift
A target reaching rotational speed set during a torque phase is set to a value higher than an actual engine rotational speed, the value being higher as one of a vehicle acceleration and an engine rotational speed gradient is larger. That is, as the acceleration is steeper, the target reaching rotational speed is set to a value closer to an upper limit rotational speed or rotational speeds proximate thereto. Thus, a display rotational speed displayed on a tachometer at the end of the torque phase becomes high rotational speed. Accordingly, there is provided a display control device for a vehicle that enables a driver to feel the use of engine performance to the limit.
Electronic component unit, wire harness, and connector fixing structure
An electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a substrate on which an electronic component is mounted, a connector electrically connected to the substrate, and a connector fixing structure. The connector fixing structure includes a pair of notches that are provided facing each other on ends of the substrate in a long-side direction and that penetrate through the substrate in a plate thickness direction, a pair of press fitting plates that are provided on the connector and that are press-fitted into the respective notches, and a deformation acceptable space that is provided adjacent to each of both sides of the press fitting plates press-fitted into the respective notches in the long-side direction.
TRAILER CONNECTION SAFETY SYSTEM
A trailer connection safety system is provided. In example aspects, the system receives an action by an operator of a vehicle and determines a connection state of an electrical cable. If the electrical cable is not in an appropriate state for the action of the operator, an alert is generated and displayed. In further aspects, the system may act as an interlock to prevent the action of the operator if the electrical cable is not in an appropriate state.
Irregular shape display device having hole
An irregular shape display having a hole according to the present disclosure may insert a cylinder-shaped guide member with the same material as that of a light guide plate within a hole to reduce a luminance difference between the front and the back of the hole, thereby improving a dark portion in the vicinity of the hole. Furthermore, the present disclosure may attach a reflection sheet to an upper portion of the guide member to block light leaked out between the light guide plate and the guide member.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY DEVICE
An information display portion indicates vehicular information relevant to a vehicle. A display plate being translucent is located on a viewing side relative to the information display portion. A reflective portion formed in the display plate is configured to be illuminated in a predetermined shape by light emitted from a light source unit. The reflective portion being illuminated is overlapped on the vehicular information indicated by the information display portion and viewable on the viewing side.
LED indicating device, in particular for a vehicle instrument cluster
An LED indicating device, in particular for a vehicle instrument cluster, has a plate provided with at least one light permeable portion adapted to be illuminated by a plurality of LED sources arranged in a position spaced apart from such a rear surface of such a light permeable portion; the device has a body which is arranged between the LED sources and the rear surface of the light permeable portion and has a first surface facing the LED sources and a second surface facing the rear surface; the body consists of a matrix made of a light impermeable material and of a plurality of light permeable elements, which are embedded in the matrix in positions spaced apart from one another and continuously extend from the first surface to the second surface.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR HYBRID VEHICLE
A display device, for a hybrid vehicle for displaying an output relating to traveling of the hybrid vehicle, includes a first region and a second region. The first region indicates the output in a first mode in which an internal combustion engine is stopped and the vehicle travels using an electric motor. The second region indicates the output in a second mode in which the internal combustion engine is operated to travel. The first region includes a third region positioned close to the second region and indicating the output at which the internal combustion engine possibly starts up.
