Instrument cluster having a deformable display
Vehicle information is displayed on a deformable display of an instrument cluster for a motor vehicle. The instrument cluster includes the deformable display, a support structure, at least one sensor element, and at least one movement element. The deformable display is arranged on the support structure and the support structure is movable from a first position into a second position by using the at least one movement element, based on environmental influences detected by the sensor element.
Vehicle interior systems having a curved cover glass and display or touch panel and methods for forming the same
Embodiments of a vehicle interior system are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a base with a curved surface, and a display or touch panel disposed on the curved surface. The display includes a cold-bent glass substrate with a thickness of 1.5 mm or less and a first radius of curvature of 20 mm or greater, and a display module and/or touch panel attached to the glass substrate having a second radius of curvature that is within 10% of the first radius of curvature. Methods for forming such systems are also disclosed.
Onboard apparatus
An onboard apparatus includes an image capturing unit configured to capture a periphery of a vehicle, a display unit configured to display an image captured by the image capturing unit, and a notification unit configured to notify an occupant of information. The notification unit is configured to notify the occupant that the vehicle is in a startable state on the condition that, at least, display of the captured image has been started by the display unit.
DRIVER STATE DETECTION DEVICE
A driver state detection device includes at least two state detection units that include a first state detection unit and a second state detection unit that detect a state of a driver of a vehicle, in which the first state detection unit and the second state detection unit are disposed at positions between which the driver is interposed in a vehicle width direction, and the first state detection unit and the second state detection unit are disposed in front of a rear end of a driver's seat.
CONTROLLER FOR A VEHICLE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A vehicle display system is configured to display instantaneous power delivery of a powertrain of the vehicle as a proportion of the instantaneous power capability of the powertrain. A controller for the vehicle display system comprises an input configured to receive data relating to a condition indicative of a limitation on the instantaneous power delivery and/or power capability, a processor configured to determine from the data whether the condition meets at least one predetermined criterion and an output configured to output a signal to display the limitation in relation to the instantaneous power capability of the powertrain when the condition meets the at least one predetermined criterion.
METHOD OF DISPLAYING RESIDUAL CAPACITY OF SECONDARY BATTERY, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND MOTOR-DRIVEN VEHICLE
A method of displaying a residual capacity of a secondary battery causes a computer of a display device to perform calculating a residual capacity of a secondary battery that is configured to store electric power for driving a motor-driven vehicle on the basis of at least an estimated value of an open-circuit voltage of the secondary battery storing the residual capacity of the secondary battery which is calculated at the time of stopping of supply of electric power of the secondary battery in a storage and displaying the residual capacity at the time of stopping of supply of electric power of the secondary battery, which is stored in the storage, on a display at the time of starting of supply of electric power of the secondary battery and subsequently displaying the residual capacity of the secondary battery on the display within a range with a predetermined upper limit value and a predetermined lower limit value with respect to the residual capacity at the time of stopping of supply of electric power of the secondary battery.
VEHICLE LEARN MODE INTERFACE
Embodiments include methods, systems and computer readable storage medium for a method for utilizing a vehicle learn mode is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a learn mode user interface, a selection to use a vehicle learn mode. The method further includes receiving, by the learn mode user interface, a request for information about a user control or vehicle feature for a vehicle. The method further includes obtaining, by the learn mode user interface, the information from an electronic owner's manual for the vehicle. The method further includes outputting, by an audio system or a visual display, the information to a user.
INTERIOR VEHICLE COMPONENT
An assembly includes an instrument panel and a base rotatably mounted to the instrument panel between a front position and a stowed position. An interior component is supported by the base. A spring biases the base toward the stowed position.
VEHICLE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, VEHICLE MODULE, FRONT COMPOSITE MODULE, AND VEHICLE LAMP
A vehicle communication system installed in a vehicle includes: a lamp for illumination, a display or signal; a display that is configured by a planar light emitter and has an information display function; and a control unit that is capable of controlling turning-on of the lamp and of the display. The control unit is configured to control the lamp and the display in a linked manner, and present vehicle information indicating a condition of the vehicle by combining light emission of the lamp with information display of the display.
Combiner and head-up display device
A combiner is fastened to a base in a mobile object with a fastening member having a planar seat surface. The combiner displays a display light image as a virtual image visible to an occupant in the mobile object when the display light image is projected from a projection unit. The combiner includes a projection main body and a fastening protrusion. The projection main body is set with a projection region and has reflection surfaces displaying a virtual image by reflecting the display light image projected onto the projection region in a shape of a curved surface. The fastening protrusion has a planar fastening surface in surface contact with the seat surface. The fastening protrusion protrudes from the projection main body and is fastened to the base with the fastening member inserted into the fastening protrusion.
