GAZE DRIVEN INTERACTION FOR A VEHICLE
According to the invention, a method for changing information on a display in a vehicle based on a gaze direction of a driver is disclosed. The method may include displaying information on the display in the vehicle. The method may also include receiving gaze data indicative of the gaze direction of a user. The method may further include changing the display based at least in part on the gaze data.
Information display system
An information display system displaying different information on each of a plurality of display units includes: a sight line specifying portion that specifies a line of sight of a driver; a cognition display unit specifying portion that specifies, as a cognition display unit, one of the display units being in a direction of the line of sight; a non-cognition display unit specifying portion that specifies, as a non-cognition display unit, a different one of the display units; a priority order assignment portion that assigns a priority order to the non-cognition display unit or displayed information; and a guide process execution portion that executes a guide process in which the line of sight is guided to the non-cognition display unit or the display unit.
Gaze driven interaction for a vehicle
According to the invention, a method for modifying operation of at least one system of a vehicle based at least in part on a gaze direction of a driver is disclosed. The method may include receiving gaze data indicative of the gaze direction of a driver of a vehicle. The method may also include modifying operation of at least one system of the vehicle based at least in part on the gaze data.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A vehicle display device includes: a viewpoint position acquisition unit acquiring a user viewpoint position of a user seated in a driver seat of a vehicle; a forward information acquisition unit acquiring forward information of the vehicle; an image generation unit generating an image obtained by reflecting the forward information included within a prescribed area among the forward information acquired by the forward information acquisition unit; an image display unit having a display surface capable of displaying the image generated; and a projection unit projecting the image toward a vehicle's translucent member such that a virtual image is visible to the user. The image generation unit determines the position and the size of a first image element to be displayed, among image elements included in the generated image, on the display surface, according to the user viewpoint position in the vertical direction acquired by the viewpoint position acquisition unit.
VEHICLE DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY MEMORY MEDIUM
A vehicle display control device comprising memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor being configured to perform control to detect a position of a preceding vehicle running in front of the vehicle, based on the position of the preceding vehicle, perceive whether or not an entirety of the preceding vehicle has departed from the display region, and display an acquisition image that is superimposed on or adjacent to the preceding vehicle in the display region in accordance with the position of the preceding vehicle and, when the entirety of the preceding vehicle departing from the display region is perceived, display the acquisition image as a flashing display at an end portion at a side of the display region at which the entirety of the preceding vehicle has departed.
Automatic pause and resume of media content during automated driving based on driver's gaze
A gaze safety module is described herein. In an embodiment, the gaze safety module may comprise a gaze area classifier, a monitoring needs estimator, and a display control. The gaze area classifier may be configured to: receive first sensor data from a sensor; and determine a first gaze classification of a driver based, at least in part, on the first sensor data. The monitoring needs estimator may be configured to: receive driving condition data; and determine one or more gaze requirements. The display control may be configured to: pause playback of a media player based, at least in part, on the first gaze classification and the one or more gaze requirements; and determine a first value for a resume type variable based, at least in part, on the first gaze classification and the one or more gaze requirements.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing system is provided with a modeling unit. The modeling unit models, based on a degree of similarity among individual travel histories of a plurality of drivers, individual travel histories of at least one or more drivers from among the individual travel histories of the plurality of drivers to construct a driver model indicating a relationship between conditions of the at least one or more drivers and travel environments of at least one or more vehicles.
VEHICLE AND A METHOD OF CONTROLLING SAME
A vehicle and a method of controlling the vehicle include a display unit, an adjuster configured to move the display unit within a preset angle range, and a controller configured to move the display unit to correspond to a change in a proceeding direction of the vehicle during autonomous driving of the vehicle to a preset destination. When an autonomous vehicle changes a vehicle proceeding direction during driving, a display unit or a seat inside the vehicle is turned and moved in the same direction as the changed vehicle proceeding direction to lower a physical angular speed that affects human carsickness, thereby reducing carsickness.
Vehicle-mounted display device
A vehicle-mounted display device is provided with a first attention calling indicator, and a second attention calling indicator. The first attention calling indicator includes first light emitting units which emit light, and is located in one of front left and right sides of a driver's seat, and guides light from the first light emitting units toward a direction of the driver's seat using a reflection from a windshield. The second attention calling indicator includes second light emitting units which emit light, and is located in the other of the front left and right sides of the driver's seat, and guides the light from the second light emitting units toward the direction of the driver's seat using the reflection from the windshield or a reflection from a door window so as to perform display symmetrically along with the first attention calling indicator.
Vehicle Operation Assistance Information Management for Autonomous Vehicle Control Transfer
A vehicle implementing vehicle operation assistance information management for autonomous vehicle control transfer may identify a vehicle operation assistance information item indicating a location of an expected vehicle operation control transfer, and, in response to a determination that an immanency for the vehicle operation assistance information item is within a maximum relevant immanence, present a representation of the vehicle operation assistance information item, which may include, in response to a determination that an urgency for the vehicle operation assistance information item indicates a warning urgency or an advisory urgency, controlling the primary graphical display portion and the secondary graphical display portion to present a graphical representation of the vehicle operation assistance information item, such that the primary graphical display portion presents a first portion of the graphical representation and the secondary graphical display portion presents a second portion of the graphical representation.
