LED LIGHT GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR INJECTION MOLDING PLASTIC ENCAPSULATION
A lighted trim apparatus includes a light guide sub-assembly. The light guide sub-assembly includes a translucent film layer having a darkening agent on a first surface of the film layer to define multiple translucent windows in the film layer. Multiple light emitting diodes are each mounted on the film layer proximate to one of the windows. A transparent material light guide is applied over the windows and allows light from the light emitting diodes to be transmitted through the windows. A substrate defining an opaque polymeric material layer is commonly applied over the light emitting diodes, the light guide and the first surface of the film and extends beyond a perimeter of the film layer. A transparent cover layer extends over a second surface of the film layer opposite to the first surface and a portion of the opaque polymeric material extends beyond the perimeter of the film layer.
Mobile Starting Light Signaling System
A mobile starting light signaling system for a pair of vehicles in a race having at least two units. A primary unit is connected to a primary vehicle and a second unit is connected to a secondary vehicle. Each unit has a sensor in electrical communication with a display. The display has a green light, a yellow light, and a red light. The first sensor is in bidirectional communication with the second sensor to determine whether or not the primary vehicle is in alignment with the secondary vehicle. The red light is illuminated when the primary vehicle is not in alignment with the secondary vehicle. The yellow light is illuminated when the primary vehicle is in alignment with the secondary vehicle. The green light is illuminated to indicate the start of the race when the primary vehicle is in alignment with the secondary vehicle for a predetermined time.
METER ASSEMBLY
A meter assembly for a vehicle instrument panel. The meter assembly includes a reflector case having a plurality of light guides extending from an inner surface of the reflector case. Neighboring ones of the plurality of light guides have different lengths and extend different distances from the inner surface of the reflector case.
Steering wheel
A steering wheel includes an indicator. The indicator includes a light source that emits light and a light guide. The light guide includes an outer surface and an end opposing the light source. The light emitted from the light source enters the end of the light guide, and some of the light is emitted from the outer surface.
Indicating device with rear projection structure
A dial plate being nonopaque is in a disc shape. A slit member has slits each extending through the slit member in a thickness direction. A light source is located on an opposite side of the slit member from the dial plate. The light source is configured to emit light through the slits of the slit member toward the dial plate to project images on the dial plate.
Motor Vehicle
A motor vehicle is disclosed that includes at least one linear lighting means for directly and/or indirectly lighting a vehicle interior. A position-sensing unit senses ego information describing a position and an orientation of the motor vehicle. A control device determines, from location information describing the position of a person, and from the ego information, direction information describing a direction of the person in relation to the motor vehicle (1), selects, in accordance with the direction information, a sub-group of lighting segments that includes at least one lighting segment to be activated, and activates the lighting segment belonging to the sub-group in accordance with a configuration, which specifies the lighting brightness and/or the lighting color of the lighting segment, and which visualizes the position of the person.
VEHICLE OPTICAL SYSTEM
A vehicle optical system in a vehicle is provided. The vehicle optical system is configured to emit an image to a windshield of a vehicle. The vehicle optical system includes a processor, a display device, and a sensor. The display device electrically connects to the processor. The display device includes a display panel and a plurality of light emitting units. The light emitting units are configured to emit a first light to the display panel. The display panel is configured to output a second light having the image. The sensor electrically connects to the processor, and detects an intensity of ambient light. The processor is configured to modulate the display device to adjust the second light based on the intensity of the ambient light.
DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICLE, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING VEHICLE
A display device includes a beam generator and a holographic optical waveguide. The beam generator includes a display and is configured to generate beams having image information displayed on the display. The holographic optical waveguide is configured to display an image of a second size at a position at a first distance behind the display device based on the beams having the image information, the second size is a multiple of the first size of the display, and the multiple is greater than 1.
Driver airbag module with lighting device, control method, and manufacturing method of same
A driver airbag module with a lighting device is proposed. The driver airbag module comprises an airbag cover, covering a driver airbag, configured to unfold toward a front space of a driver when the driver airbag is operated, wherein the airbag cover is located above the driver airbag. The airbag module further comprises the lighting device, wherein the lighting device comprises a plurality of lamps which are arranged to be spaced apart from each other, configured to emit light, located below the airbag cover, and coupled to the airbag cover such that the light emitted from the plurality of lamps is exposed to an upper space of the airbag cover. The airbag module further comprises a lighting controller configured to control flashing of the lighting device based on a driving condition of a vehicle, a charging status of a power source, and/or a driver condition.
DECORATION PLATE
A decoration plate including a light guide substrate, a decorative film, and a circuit board assembly is provided. The light guide substrate has a first surface and a second surface disposed on opposite sides, and has a first groove on the first surface. The decorative film is disposed on the second surface of the light guide substrate. The decorative film defines an operating region. The circuit board assembly is disposed on the first surface. The circuit board assembly includes a light-emitting element and a touch sensing layer. The light-emitting element is accommodated in the first groove. A position of the touch sensing layer corresponds to a position of an orthogonal projection of the operating region on the first surface.
