Display device and input apparatus
A display device includes a flexible member having a light-transmissive property, a plurality of first light sources disposed on a side of a first surface of the flexible member, the first light sources outputting light toward the flexible member, a skin disposed on a side of a second surface of the flexible member opposite from the first surface, the skin including a plurality of first transmission areas that transmit the light output from the plurality of first light sources and passing through the flexible member as light representing shapes of a plurality of first symbols in plan view, and a first light-shielding wall at least part of which is disposed in the flexible member, the first light-shielding wall separating a plurality of first optical paths extending from the plurality of first light sources to the plurality of first transmission areas.
Projection device and head-up display
A projection device includes: a plurality of light sources arranged in a first direction; a spatial modulation element that modulates incident light into image information and emits the image information; a lens that changes an optical path of light emitted from each of the plurality of light sources such that the light emitted from each light source reaches substantially the same region of an incident surface of the spatial modulation element; and a first reflective optical member that deflects the light emitted from the lens toward the spatial modulation element, the first reflective optical member having a shape that reflects light emitted from the lens so as to be incident on an arbitrary point on the incident surface of the spatial modulation element at a predetermined reference incident angle.
Display unit with changing symbols
A display unit includes a layer with a plurality of sub-regions which are arranged adjacently to one another along an illuminated edge of the layer. A corresponding number of symbols are arranged in the sub-regions. The display unit additionally has a plurality of light sources. The said light sources are arranged adjacently to one another along the illuminated edge of the layer. Each light source is configured to emit light into the respective sub-region of the layer via the illuminated edge of the layer. The display unit additionally has a limiting element which is arranged between the illuminated edge of the layer and the light sources and which is configured to limit the light emitted from the light sources for each sub-region such that the symbol in the respective sub-region is illuminated in a selective manner by the light sources.
Control device, vehicle steering wheel and method for operating a control device
A control device for a vehicle steering wheel (10) has a closed, touch-sensitive, preferably three-dimensionally shaped sensor surface (20), at least two mechanical switching elements (22) which are arranged below the sensor surface (20) and can be actuated by deforming the sensor surface (20), the touch-sensitive sensor surface (20) being designed to be so flexible that the mechanical switching elements (22) can be actuated separately, and a change-over switch (24) which can activate and/or deactivate the mechanical switching elements (22) and/or the touch-sensitive sensor surface (20).
Luminous signaling glazing unit, vehicle incorporating same and manufacture
A vehicle luminous signaling glazing unit forming a front windshield, includes a first glazing pane, forming the exterior glazing pane, with first and second main faces F1, F2; a lamination interlayer made of a polymeric material of thickness e1 of at most 1.8 mm; and a second glazing pane, forming the interior glazing pane, with third and fourth main faces F3, F4, the face F2 and the face F3 being the internal faces of the laminated glazing unit; and a set of diodes on a front face of a PCB board, the assembly being of thickness et2?e1, each diode emitting in the direction of the interior glass, and each diode having an edge face. For each of the diodes, the lamination interlayer comprises a through-aperture encircling the edge face of the diode, and the lamination interlayer is between face F3 and the front face of the PCB board.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING AT LEAST ONE SYMBOL, SWITCHING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device (100) for displaying at least one symbol has a translucent cover layer (210), a symbol layer (213) having a translucent symbol panel (216) for a symbol that is to be displayed by the display device (100), and an opaque surface (214) encompassing the symbol panel (216). The symbol panel (216) is disposed such that it is spaced apart from the cover layer (210) by a gap (226). A waveguide assembly (228) is formed in order to conduct light (232) onto a side of the symbol panel (216) facing away from the cover layer (210).
MOTOR VEHICLE CONTROL PANEL
A motor vehicle control panel includes a front face including a control zone; a printed circuit board; at least one electrically conductive capacitive detection element extending along a vertical axis from the rear surface of the front face to an electrical contact zone of the printed circuit board; a light source mounted on the printed circuit board and able to produce a back lighting light beam toward the control zone through the capacitive detection element; the capacitive detection element also comprises at least one rigid tubular part forming a light guide for the light beam and at least one elastic part made in one piece with the rigid tubular part so as to compensate the clearances between the rear surface and the detection element and between the printed circuit board and the detection element.
Display device for a vehicle, and vehicle
A display device for a vehicle includes a display unit, a display layer, and a light guide.
Rotary-type switch
A rotary-type switch for controlling vehicle lighting is provided. The rotary-type switch may include a housing portion that includes multiple positions that respectively correspond to multiple operation modes and a rotary dial being configured to rotate relative to the housing portion to select an operation mode of the rotary-type switch based on a position identified by a selection indicator. A controller is configured to control and operation mode of the rotary-type switch based on a vehicular power state and when the vehicular power state is OFF, regardless of the position of the selection indicator corresponding to the selected operation mode on either the housing portion or the rotary dial, the controller controls the rotary-type switch to automatically set the operation mode to that defined by an initial-operation position corresponding to a predetermined initial-operation mode.
