METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MIXING GROW MEDIA AND ADDMIXTURES WITH A POLYMER FOR SPRAYING ONTO SURFACES FOR THE GROWING OF PLANTS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER
The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention.
PLANT CULTIVATING APPARATUS
A plant cultivating apparatus may comprise a cultivating unit, a plurality of cultivating cups, a nutrient bucket, a motor, a temperature adjusting unit, a temperature and humidity sensor, and a control unit. The control unit, which is electrically connected to the motor, the temperature adjusting unit and the sensor, is configured to receive environmental data such as temperature and humidity from the sensor and to turn on/off the motor or/and the temperature adjusting unit according to the received data.
FOLIAR FEEDING FORMULATION AND METHODS OF USE
Described is a hydroponic system wherein a feed formulation comprising a plant's nutritionally required mineral nutrients is applied to the foliage of the plant and the roots of the plant are in contact with an incomplete water solution that may comprise only hydrogen and oxygen. The feed formulation, methods of feeding a plant or plant seed, and plants produced thereby are also described.
HYDROPONIC MAT
A hydroponic mat (1) according to the present invention includes: a resin foam (3) containing Zn, which is an essential micronutrient necessary for growth of plants, in the form of citric acid-soluble ZnO particles (2) (zinc oxide). The ZnO particles (2) have an average particle size within a range (not less than 0.02 m and not greater than 0.7 m) that causes scattering for the wavelength of light that chlorophyll of algae absorbs. The content of the ZnO particles (2) in the resin form (3) is not less than 4.5 mg/piece and not greater than 15.0 mg/piece.
NEW SUBSTRATE FOR HYDROPONIC OR SOILLESS CULTIVATION
This invention is related to a new substrate (6) for soilless cultivation consisting of a three-dimensional reticular structure which is elastically compressible, with empty cells bounded by threads made of polymer or any other material which are chemically inert, hydro-phobic or weakly hydrophilic. For example, the substrate which consists of a lattice made of threads in polyethylene (6) compressed into a container (4) equipped with an irrigation system (3) and with a support (2) where the plants have been inserted (5). The system is a closed cycle wherein the stored solution (1) is recirculated.

Growing system and method for growing plants on water
Growing system for growing plants, for example vegetables and ornamental plants, includes a container tray (1) which is floatably arranged in a liquid reservoir (14). The container tray (1) is configured to float on nutrient water (6) during use and has at least one opening (4) which is arranged in a tray bottom (2) of the container tray (1) for bringing a growth substrate (11) which is arranged on the container tray (1) into contact with the nutrient water (6). The container tray (1) is a substantially flat container tray (1) which includes an upright tray edge (3), and wherein the at least one opening (4) has an upright opening edge (5) having a height which is such that the growth substrate (11) is situated above a water line of the nutrient water (6) during use.
4 stage 11 component hydroponics plant collar insert system
This invention relates to agriculture, hydroponics, the art of growing plants indoors. True hydroponics requires living plants to grow directly in water and water only. This system allows for vegetation to be hung over water and is comprised of a system of collars that wrap around the stem or stalk of living plants to secure them within a system of support cuffs.
