Lighting device for button of audio-visual system
The present invention relates to a lighting device for a button, in which light incident into a light guide is prevented from leaking to a spacing clearance between a button unit and a light guide by a reflection layer, thereby enabling a lighting through the light guide to shine cleanly and uniformly to the outside.
Display switch
A display switch includes a holding portion that formed by a light guide member and adapted to hold a held portion, and a display portion that is integrally formed with the holding portion by the light guide member, is embedded in a light shielding portion, and emits light by guiding a light irradiated to the holding portion.
Control and display module for a motor vehicle, and manufacture method
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an interface module (1), the interface module (1) including a display member (7) that is to be visible through a transparent slab (S), characterized in that it comprises the steps of: silk-screening an opaque ink (9) onto certain areas of a film (3) so as to define frames or symbols; depositing adhesive (C) between the film (3) on the silk-screened ink (9) side, and the transparent slab (S) of the interface module (1); and adhering, and laminating the film (3) onto the transparent slab (S) of the interface module (1). The invention also relates to the associated interface module produced according to said method.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A vehicle display device includes: a display; a vehicle information image generator; an external image obtaining device; a display controller that displays the vehicle information image and the external image on the display; and an external image display determination device that determines whether the display controller is going to display the not displayed external image. When the display controller is going to display the not displayed external image, the display controller displays the external image, which the display controller is going to display, on the display with gradually increasing brightness of the external image from the brightness that is lower by a predetermined amount than original brightness to predetermined brightness that is determined based on the original brightness.
LIGHTING DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A backlight unite 12 includes LEDs 17, an optical member 16, a positioning portion 23, and a rotation restricting portion 24. The optical member 16 includes at least a curved end surface 16C having a curved shape in a plan view included in a periphery of the optical member 16. The positioning portion 26 includes a positioning hole 25 that opens through a thickness direction of the optical member 16 and a positioning protrusion 26 that is inserted in the positioning hole 25 and is in contact with an inner wall of the positioning hole 25. The rotation restricting portion 24 includes an optical member recess 27 that is a portion of the periphery of the optical member 16 recessed along a circumferential direction and a contact portion 28 that is in contact with the optical member recess 27.
Vision system for vehicle
A vision system for a vehicle includes a forward viewing camera and an image processor operable to process image data captured by the camera. Responsive at least in part to processing of captured image data, lane markers of a road along which the vehicle is traveling are detected, other vehicles are detected, and road curvature of the road along which the vehicle is traveling is determined. The vehicle includes a global positioning system and a vehicle communication system operable for wireless communication with an external control located remote from the vehicle. The current geographic location of the vehicle and data derived from captured image data are wirelessly communicated to the external control. The received current geographic location and data are processed at the external control and information that is derived, at least in part, from such processing is wirelessly communicated from the external control to the equipped vehicle.
Glare and occluded view compensation for automotive and other applications
Often when there is a glare on a display screen the user may be able to mitigate the glare by tilting or otherwise moving the screen or changing their viewing position. However, when driving a car there are limited options for overcoming glares on the dashboard, especially when you are driving for a long distance in the same direction. Embodiments are directed to eliminating such glare. Other embodiments are related to mixed reality (MR) and filling in occluded areas.
Push button illumination structure, and vehicle-mounted apparatus provided with same
A push button illumination structure includes a light emitting base part having transparency, and a button body part configured to be molded as one body with the light emitting base part. The button body part includes: a fixed leg part configured to elastically support the light emitting base part; a push-in column configured to apply pressure to a switch; and a light shielding wall part configured to protrude on a back side of the light emitting base part, and having a frame shape. The light shielding wall part is formed at a position corresponding to an outer shape of the light emitting base part in a plan view. The push button illumination structure is configured to cause light emitted from a light source arranged inside with respect to the light shielding wall part in the plan view to be reflected by an inner surface of the light shielding wall part.
DISPLAY DEVICE, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device for displaying an image on a display surface includes a liquid crystal panel having the display surface, the liquid crystal panel with a first through hole formed in the display surface, a backlight disposed oppositely to the liquid crystal panel, the backlight with a second through hole formed at a position overlapping with the first through hole, and a cap inserted into the first through hole and the second through hole. The cap includes a tube portion with a third through hole formed, the third through hole parallel to the first through hole and the second through hole, and a flange portion formed at least one end of the tube portion, the flange portion having an outer diameter larger than a diameter of the first through hole, and larger than a diameter of the second through hole.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes an image display device that includes an image display surface that emits light polarized in one direction and displays an image; and a superimposing display device that includes a transparent light guide plate that is provided overlapping the image display surface, transmits the light emitted from the image display device, and also has grooves constituting a pattern formed thereon, includes a light source that irradiates an end surface of the transparent light guide plate with light, and is switched between display and non-display of the pattern based on lighting and non-lighting of the light source. A polarization direction of the image display device and an extending direction of the grooves intersect at an angle range of 75 to 105. Accordingly, the display device can ensure proper visibility.
