Light-guide display with reflector
11940625 · 2024-03-26 · ·

A display includes a light-guide optical element (LOE) (20) and a projector arrangement (10a) for injecting an image into the LOE so as to propagate within the LOE by internal reflection at a pair of major faces. The image is coupled out from the LOE by a coupling-out arrangement, exemplified here as internal partially-reflecting surfaces (22b). The image is coupled out from the LOE in a direction away from the eye of the observer (24b), and a reflector (30) reflects the coupled-out image back through the LOE (32), towards the eye of the observer (26). Reflector (30) is preferably a selective partial reflector, and may be convex to provide a desired apparent image distance.

Display device, shovel, information processing apparatus

A display device displays information image related to an excavation work, in an ambient environment image in a view of a work area or an attachment viewed from a shovel, or in a field of view of an operator viewing the work area or the attachment from the shovel. The shovel may include the display device. A management device may include a display apparatus, a communication device which communicates with the shovel, and a remote control device operated by a user to remotely control the shovel via the communication device.

Map display device and map display method

An object of the present invention is to display a list of traffic information of a plurality of lanes. A map display device of the present invention includes a traffic information acquisition unit that acquires traffic information for a road including a plurality of lanes for each lane, and a display control unit that creates a road map image that represents a road for each lane using map data having lane link data, and causes a display device mounted on a vehicle to display thereof, in which the display control unit superimposes the traffic information on the corresponding lane in the road map image.

Display apparatus for switching between different displays of different images identifying a same element

A display apparatus of the present disclosure makes association between an image to be displayed in a superimposed manner and an image to be displayed in a non-superimposed manner, when displaying a first image and a second image having the same meaning, while switching between superimposed display and non-superimposed display, thereby, allowing drivers to recognize their association immediately when switching between the superimposed display and the non-superimposed occurs. As a result, AR display that is immediately understandable by drivers while not interrupting driving can be realized.

Spatial image cluster for vehicle

A cluster according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a display and a spatial image panel. The display is installed in the vehicle to output predetermined information as a 2D image. The spatial image panel is configured to output a 3D image in a predetermined space in front. The spatial image panel includes a first lens array, a second lens array, and a refractive medium. The first lens array is disposed adjacent to the display and includes a plurality of first lenses arranged on the same plane. The second lens array is disposed in parallel with the first array so that the first lenses and second lenses overlap each other. The refractive medium is disposed between the first lens array and the second lens array.

Method for operating a visual field display device for a motor vehicle

A method operates a visual field display device, in particular for a motor vehicle, which is designed to produce a projection light beam with a display content and to project the display content onto a partially transparent reflecting projection screen, in particular a front window of the motor vehicle, such that a virtual display image which is superimposed into a field of vision of a user is generated behind it. The method determines image element edges having vertical or a vertical component in the virtual display image to be superimposed and tilts the image element edges thus determined to a respectively adapted tilt angle with respect to the vertical, such that double images of the respective image element edges in the virtual display image are offset with respect to each other in the horizontal direct for the user due to double reflections of the projection light beam on two optical boundaries of the projection screen and appear substantially sharp.

VEHICLE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PROVIDED WITH A MONOCHROMATIC DISPLAY

A vehicle instrument cluster including a monochromatic display having a matrix of pixels which can be independently controlled by a control unit to inhibit or to allow the passage of light. The instrument cluster has a back-lighting device that emits at least a monochromatic light beam toward a rear surface of the display and through a filter, which is light-permeable and is provided with a coloured graphic representation whose contours have a resolution higher than the one of the display.

DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE, VEHICLE, AND DISPLAY METHOD FOR VEHICLE

A display system is a system which can set a first travel mode and a second travel mode. A display system includes: a display displaying an information image indicating vehicle information to be superimposed on a background pattern; and a circuitry controlling a display on the display so that a first background pattern is set as the background pattern when the first travel mode is set and a second background pattern visually recognized to be different from the first background pattern is set as the background pattern when the second travel mode is set.

Head-up display, head-up display system, and movable body

A head-up display includes a display panel, a reflective optical element, a controller, and an obtainer. The display panel displays a first image. The reflective optical element reflects image light from the first image displayed by the display panel. The controller controls a position at which the first image is displayed on the display panel. The obtainer obtains, as positional information, a position of an eye of a user. The controller changes the position at which the first image is displayed on the display panel in accordance with the positional information.

Vehicle display device

A vehicle display device includes: a housing unit having an opening facing an eye point side of a vehicle; a decorative member disposed inside the housing unit; a display device configured to display an image inside the housing unit, a drive device configured to move the decorative member in a width direction of the housing unit; and an illumination device operated depending on a movement of the decorative member to irradiate the decorative member with light. The illumination device may have a plurality of light sources arranged along the width direction.
